Hey Jimmie, this helmet does not work well with Bluetooth communication systems. No speaker cutouts and it is a bit on the loud side of the spectrum unless you have a large windshield and fairings. Safe riding! -Brandon

The vent on the chin guard cannot be closed like other helmets as in thier is no switch to close im just going to cut some thick foam and stick it thier for the winter.

A Muzzle refers to "the projecting part of the face, including the nose and mouth, of an animal such as a dog or horse" or "the open end of the barrel of a firearm". This is why we refer to the part of this helmet that covers the chin as the "chin bar" as it is more closely related to motorcycles. While this helmet has the ability to cover you're "full face" the chin bar (chin piece, chin cover, etc) is a soft material that will not provide impact protection. It's certainly more of a stylistic piece, however, it does provide some additional protection from the elements. Safe riding! -Brandon

@@davidd1289 Yes, that pretty eff'ed up, as I was under the impression this was a full-face helmet. Yet, when I saw the bottom pc is guided in with magnets, I put on the brakes. Scorpion REALLY needs to inform the public this is just a gimmicky half-helmet. Cycle Gear is NOT doing their due dilligence with this video of Misinformation. I was going to order it from them, but now I think I'll just delete the link to their site/store, and stick to what works.

Yeah, I came here after watching a Revzilla review of the same helmet. They mentioned it is only DOT rated for a half helmet several times. Ill stick to their reviews. I want this helmet as a full face and was bummed to realize it wasn't. If I would have come here first, I might have purchased something I would normally not buy or feel safe in.

Hey Julien! Thanks for the feedback. This helmet has style at the forefront and performance second. If you are looking for a helmet that is quieter, I would recommend a traditional full face helmet. You could also purchase a helmet with a pin-lock ready shield and this should help eliminate any fogging that you have previously experienced.
