I've had my eye on this helmet for a year and when I was ready to purchase they don't have the gloss white in Medium anymore. Thanks for the advice on the matter white, I didn't realize that it would discolor, so il will wait and see if it comes back in gloss white. I currently own a Scorpion EXO-T510.

Thinking about giving this helmet a try as my first ( my heads kinda weird so it might work out 😅) , were you able to do something or change the visors so they wouldn’t fog up as much ?

Sounds like (from other comments) you figured to get the xl next time. Another note, I think scorpion designed this for short track jaunts, so less on comfort and more on aerodynamics. Have you thought about trying their ext 1400? Next time you get a helmet in the winter, just try it out in front of the TV for pressure points :)

I am an XL and the R2000 was a wee bit tight on me, my R420 fits pretty nice (an L with XL cheekpads. hopefully the R1 air fits similar.

I own the Bautista version of this lid so I feel I have a valid opinion of it as well. I am a dead bang medium In this as well as my Bell Star and Icon Airframe Pro which are intermediate oval lids too. My head looks nothing like the pic you posted lol. We've all been guilty of keeping that shirt that was a smeduim or that pair of sneaks that were maybe a half size small because we loved how they looked. Think about all you had to do to wear this lid. 😩 On the fogging thing I'm in agreement completely.

I have the exo R1 carbon 2021 model. it’s been great. You do need pin lock in cool weather. Or you’ll fog up. Other than that it’s almost perfect.

Hm, I have my Scorpion R1 for the 3rd season now and I am super satisfied with it. I have a Shoei X-14 in L and R1 also in L (my old RPHA 70 was also L), but I have no fitment issues. I have enough space all around and have to pump the cheek pads 3-4 times.

Is the front camera upside down?? I gotta slap that front camera on already.

Helmet fitting question. My head measures at 62. I tried a Sohei XL where it says it's the right size, and it was a proper fit. BUT I tried an Arai XL, and it wouldn't fit :( - had to go XXL for it. This kind of frightens me from taking a gamble and buying online. Im very interested to buy a Scorpion EXO R1, but im in the border between XL and XXL fearing getting a too tight or a too loose fit. Can anyone here spare some advise? Anyone here a size 62 who owns a Scorpion? would love to hear your thoughts. Cheers.

I just purchased this helmet and I don’t know if they have made changes since the release of this video but mines fits amazingly.

Weel, for me the sizing issue, you got to own up to it, every helmet is different with different sizes, shapes, and stuff, it he doesnt suit you, you could have had always change instead of modifying it, ripping parts apart etc... Buying an Exo Air to cut the pumping and inflating system off and basically throwing away this feature, I really don't get it tbh, but at least these are points to look out for, I guess

Sounds like it's pretty safe to say that u purchased the wrong sized helmet🤷🏾‍♂️ U could have just purchased cheek pads and crown pads for XL to give you more room since the shells are the same.

Tightness front/rear but not the sides, headaches, the pump touching your lips...does all this not just mean you needed to size up? Sounds like it would resolve everything- especially if this did result in loose sides, when you can use the pump to tighten it laterally.

Why do you talk with brakes?

Scorpion helmets definitely fit my fat head the best.

I've been on the fence with this helmet for months saved up enough and everything but can't push the button I've had the past scorpion models and I love them a lot but I tried this one on at the store and you're right that fit it's just weird and your mouth does get really close to the front of the helmet I thought it was just me I don't know what they did or why they changed the shape inside the helmet and the visors used to come fog free and worked really good the new ones don't that's so weird I can't do it and I'm so disappointed for the brand hjc is taking over who would've known with the rpha 11 pro great helmet

My guy it sounds like you bought the wrong helmet for your head shape... not sure if you are aware, but there are 3 different head shapes that helmet manufacturers build their helmets around which are round, intermediate oval, and long oval. If you have all that pressure and your mouth/lips touch inside of the helmet then you definitely have the wrong shaped head for that helmet... I personally have a weird shaped head so this helmet isn't the most comfortable for me, but it's brand new and that foam padding ends up molding around your headshape (if you are within a certain size range and have mostly the right overall headshape). I had slight pressure headaches right above the temples, but it was not severe to begin with and I can already feel the helmet easing up in that area after only 4ish hours of use. Most forums and helmet guides state that it can take around 15 hours of riding for your helmet to form to your head. I'm not at all trying to bash you on your review, but if you bought the helmet for the wrong headshape then this would be the equivalent of me a (a right handed user) to review a left-handed computer mouse and then complain about how it's uncomfortable for my right hand.

Why didn't you just wear it around the house for an hour. Dude I wouldn't be uncomfortable to save $400 bucks. Get a helmet that fits and stop dumping on Scorpion.

If you cut these dramatic pauses in between almost every word, this review woudl last 2min at max😂

you review sound like you bough a porsche 911 and since you head is touching the roof you made a hole on the roof to show your head and complain that it is too windy for such a price :))))
