I remember watching Scorpion King 2 because I kinda enjoyed the first one and wanted to see what it was about. Never have I been so disappointed, it has zero link to the first and I vomited in my mouth seeing the horrendous CGI

The entire cast of Black Sails deserve better careers. That show was an underrated masterpiece and Zach McGowen as Charles Vane was a standout. I cannot recommend this show any higher.

20:34 maybe the sand can only get in when the tomb is open, so that's why there's not much. And maybe there's a small community of sacrifical roombas that do their best to keep the place clean, but they;re just not designed for those floors.

Man they roped Zach McGowan into this movie? I really liked him in Black Sails he was really great in that. I highly recommend you watch that Daniel it's pretty good and is a prequel to the Treasure Island story and explains the Captain Flint got his treasure and the rise of Long John Silver.

Thank you both for pointing out the details I didn't care enough to pay attention to. Can't wait for The Scorpion King reboot. This helped make my day! P.S. The portal code scene had REALLY bad editing--every other scene the sun was up, then the moon, back to the sun. Tala also referred to the sun as the moon.

On the point of this movie being connected to the original Scorpion King, Balthazar was Michael Clarke Duncan's character in that movie. So in theory Tala is his daughter despite that not really making sense from my understanding of the timeline lol

Maybe you can only get through the portal at those times because the tomb is doing the "Brigadoon" thing and skipping ahead in time. That would make the book lady much younger. As for the sand, well, there isn't a whole lot to do there other than sweep up.
