Thank you so much Kyle !! This really helped me. I was trying to do throttle calibration with a Scorpion II 06-120 and a Spektrum DX9. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work. I used your trick where you power up the RX first. I used a l2s lipo but it goes though a old Align separated box to power up a RX with a lipo, so its only outputting 5.8V. I use it all the time to power a servo tester. So I powered up my AR637T first waited for it to initialize. Then put the stick to 100% (throttle sub trim at 0, linier throttle curve, enabled to the throttle stick) plugged in the main battery and I heard the beep, lower the stick and hear two beeps. un plug. Done. Now return the throttle sub trim to -100. Finished. THANK YOU !!
I have the tribunus 06-80A, programmed and installed in RAW 420. On Sproto it shows the throttle goingb from 0-100% but no power to the motor. Also no beeps at all. But i have a solid green light. Any suggestions?
I have a quick question if that's ok: The in my setup (A Tribunus 200 Amp and Vbar touch) is set to . it doesn't say on my Vbar touch! If it's Centigrade I'd hesitate increase it. But if Fahrenheit I can relax and increase it.
Hi Kyle, I use an external BEC (set at 7.4 V instead of direct Lipo) and when I plugged the second 6S battery (12S setup) the connector blew up and ESC died. Any reason for that? I previously tested this ESC and was working perfectly and the only difference was the BEC
I have a quick question if that's ok: The cut off temperature in my setup (A Tribunus 200 Amp and Vbar touch) is set to 200. BUT IS THIS FAHRENHEIT OR CENTIGRADE? it doesn't say on my Vbar touch! If it's Centigrade I'd hesitate increase it. But if Fahrenheit I can relax and increase it.

Hi. I accidentally touched 3 wires of the ESC SCORPION with each other, there was a click and discharge. Now everything works, but now I am very worried, how did I spoil the ESC SCORPION? What do you think ?
Hello. I purchased a Tribunus 14-300A Series engine governor. I cannot pair with V-Bar Neo (V-Bar Control). I also want to connect via telemetry wire ... I still do not understand which socket in the figure is "MASTER", which is "AUXILIARY" ??? There are 9 pieces of pin connections .. Help me please🙏🙏🙏
Kyle, I have the Tribunus 130 HV. I have the latest firmware update 63, I like the slow start up mode. Is there a way to get it any slower/extended? I'm using it more for the scale effect, and with just a few tweaks, I feel like it would be about as close to scale as an electric can get!
Kyle i am in airplane mode with 0% throttle on the app but I am recieving the throttle input code i am using a spectrum receiver and I have the master port connected to the receiver properly, what am I doing wrong? Thanks
Hi Barney, Have you re bound your model since doing the calibration? When a Spectrum radio binds it first outputs the “fail safe command” which could be to high and confuse the esc.
Yeah .lol well mine don't do that. I've had my scorpion tribunus for about a year and I cannot get the throttle to calibrate. Instead I had to adjust te end point so the tribunus read 0 on sproto. I wish someone could explain what is going on with this damn thing. Using futaba 18sz.
I to can not get it to throttle calibrate. It goes straight into normal start up procedure even when my throttle is high? Dx9. My flight mode 1 works but 2 doesn't? Tribunus2 120amp. Haven’t tried changing end points yet (shouldn't have to).
What Receiver/FBL are you using? I use the spektrum beastx, and I had to tweak the process a bit. With the Spektrum beastx I had to start the receiver first with no power going to the tribunus (You can use a small receiver battery or different esc to power the FBL/receiver). Once the beastx was done with its lengthy start up mode, then I fired up the tribunus with throttle high, and it went just like this video. *B/c I was using the tribunus as the BEC as well I used a short servo extension cable with the middle (power) wire pulled to connect to the throttle port so the ESC wouldn't feed power to the receiver as well. So if you try this method either turn the BEC off in the scorpion, or use a small extension cable like I did so you don't overload your receiver/FBL.
