I've always felt that Matthias is a vastly under-rated guitar player. He can totally shred but is always right in the pocket. His solos always serve the song. He deserves more credit as an 80's guitar influence who is still going strong. Mad respect.
He is underrated but one of best rhythm and leadplaers still doing it flawless and his partner Rudolf is really solid onthe rhythm guitar love them both♥️♥️♥️
I agree. I was lucky enough to shake his hand in Toronto. Not too impressed with the green monster he was playing tonight. Looks like a Gibson knock off. Oh well the skill is still there.
Amazing they can still sound so good. I can't figure out why people complain about Klaus Meine's voice. It truly is shocking at his age, to sound so good. Klaus always has had one of the greatest voices in hard rock along with Halford, Tate, Dio, Gillian, etc...Hell, half of us will be lucky if we can barely talk when we are in our 70's.....Scorpions ROCK!!! How about Buffalo NY show soon!!!

I really respect Klaus. Been a scorpions fan since I was a kid. But sad to say, he really sounded tired here. Much I still want him to perform but he should take a good rest and let someone take his place for a while. There is only one Klaus Meine, his health is much important.
Scorpions are MONSTERS OF ROCK 4 ever . I will never forget their performance at the US FESTIVAL right before VH headlined!!! They were fucking great that night!!!
Great video montage, thanks for posting! Something about the Scorps that make me all warm and fuzzy. They were already legends when I discovered them in the mid 80s. I met Klaus and Rudolph back in 1990 at a concert in Albany NY. Both were cool, laid back guys and made this starstruck teenager's day. I love their newer albums as much as the classics. Long live Scorpions!
We saw them in 2012 unlimited backstage passes and 9th and 13th row courtesy of friends from MSG the two shows we saw March 30th &April, 1st last row was almost as good. This sound was perfect.
Still better than Bong jovi and that horrible lipsynching Fraud Panley from the brand Kith and that sigarett smoking fine little lady Davidova from whitesnake😎

Klaus is singing flat...been heavy into this band since Lonesome Crow, luckily we have all those videos from the UJR years when they were so vital and new, and the next era with MJ...love you guys, time to retire
This was just a las vegas residency to start the new tour. The rest of the year is just concerts in arenas and stadiums. This week they play Madison square garden and then go to Europe.

I love the Scrops, been seing them since '84 in Rock in Rio, and I saw them when they said it was the final tour years ago. Klaus still sound ok then and should have hung it up when he was still hiting the high notes. I wish our beloved idols would leave on a high note instead of seeing them ask the audience to fill in the gap. Same for Motley Crue, man how sad is that... One advice I can give you is to watch a recent show before byuing the the next concert ticket, that is if you dont want to be shocked and dissapointed next time.

Eh? His voice is strong and clear, the only issues for him are stamina and a much more limited range, plus finding it harder to hit notes generally. His actual voice sounds in fine shape. He's an old dude, it is what it is.
I was there, he (matthias) botched no one like you. Not keeping me from being a fan, but honestly, I expected more. Klaus sounded better the longer the night went on, but when they came on stage initially, I was not exactly blown away. I’d like to think the mix was off for this particular show, as they just dropped the album “rock believer” and it didn’t sound….. like this.
