Klaus is the voice of the Scorpions, he may be 73yrs young, but this is unmistakably the Scorpions. Such a cool band. Without Klaus they will cease to exist. No one can replace him. It is so cool to see you expanding your musical library. Glad to see you embrace the talent that rock and metal bands have, and not rip them to death. You have opened my eyes to different types of music. Keep up the great work and teaching us mere mortals the depths of understanding music better. Congratulations on your upcoming baby. I would love to see you do some reviews of some Queen songs. You may have done some, and I haven’t been able to locate them, but I think Somebody to Love is one of their best.

I was blown away by this song, when I first heard it. The musicianship is on a whole different level. To think that "Best is Yet to Come" is decades old now... and even back then the song felt so much like a Coda on a very long and successful career... and they were completely right. The best was yet to come... This song should be a massive hit. Hats. Off.

Some of her expressions are how I felt when I first listened to it. It is true that Klaus doesn't have quite the range and power he had thirty, FORTY, FIFTY YEARS AGO, but on this recording I think they sound so good. They're unmistakably Scorpions, and it's unmistakably Klaus. So few can sing so well for so long. The song almost makes you feel hopeful, feel good. I'm a post-college, working father, and I love the Scorps because MY dad introduced me to them. They've been around through so much change in the world, the whole time. It almost gives me the feeling of 'They're still here. Rock is still alive.' I'm just not quite sure how to put it into words to be frank. Deep.

The Scorpions were my first introduction to metal music... I enjoy a wide range of music, I also learned some classical music on the piano, but the thing about the Scorpions is that they do connect to your heart. When I hear them perform I get a tear in my eye... Sometimes for happiness, but the one that has me crying is "We'll Burn The Sky" (1978) The song parallels a true life story in my life when I lost my GF from breast cancer Nov 2020, most of the lines in the song hit home, For example: "Yesterday you were leaving, leaving life with all your pain"... She was also a fan of the Scorpions too and she'll never hear this new album... I know she would have liked it.

It's been a LONG ass time I've heard cowbells used in a SCORPIONS song !!!... //^0^ It's very catchy , mild & wild well mixed ... textbook "Happy" Metal track ... as always , Klaus' melodelivery is 2nd to none ... and it's great to hear the solid drumming of the great Mikkey Dee (ex. KING DIAMOND, MOTORHEAD etc.) playing with them for the 1st time ... so tight !!!... I had the honor of meeting the SCORPIONS (even joined a Korean bbq dinner with them) , and last year a German friend of mine got a personal Cameo video from Mikkey Dee for me as a b-day present ... so this is very special to me ...... 🥁 I remember Klaus proudly saying they are from Hanover , and the world's best microphones are made near their very headquarters : Sennheiser ...... 🎤 1 funny tidbit tho ... reminded me of the song "Rock & Roll Believer" by Michael Schenker , Rudolph's brother (who fell out a LONG time ago and still doesn't get along) ... Wonder what Michael has to say (and trust me he WILL) later ...... 😈 Enjoyed the reaction and insights from Lady Charisma as always !!!... Thank you ... Cheers and pops to you ...... |m|_ //-_- _|m/ ...... ...... ......

Everyone who reads this... please go and check out the "Scorpions - Rock Believer (Official Video)". It was just released. It's great and it's exactly what it needed to be. While you're there you might also want to see the new "Scorpions - Peacemaker (Official Video)". The band is on fire!

Hello. Watched a few of your reactions and I think they are awesome. I really enjoy listening as well watching You. You have that very positive energy. Anyway I am (you could say) old Scorpions fan from Poland. This new singiel sounds really good. But I would like to send You certain link. I doubt You will react to it or anything but there are plenty singers that do not sing in english and they can do it really well even in a older age. Maybe You would like to check this out? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mkMqdMdCerQ.html It is from a talent show - The Voice of Poland. It is a so called "battle" btween coaches - btween Justyna Steczkowska and Marek Piekarczyk. Maybe You will like the technic of those singers? Anyway - Have a very Happy New Year. :)

Great reaction Elizabeth! Been a die-hard Scorps fan since the early 80s and the release of Blackout, then back into the catalogue before and after. It's really amazing that these guys are still putting out great new music and that the older stuff is still being discovered and enjoyed! I'm hoping that they'll get the residency dates in Vegas re-scheduled and we'll get some more live Scorpions in 2022, to go along with the new album! An easy 4 hour drive from Phoenix! ;)

Been a Scorpions fan since the release of Lovedrive in 1979 and Animal Magnetism released in 1980 is still one of my favorite Scorpions Albums with songs like "Falling In Love" "The Zoo" and "Animal Magnetism" which I owned this album on cassette tape and I wore that baby out. But the Album that rocked my world was "Blackout" (1982) and the song "No One Like You" which is the album that got lots of rock radio play. Being 55 this year the music of the 80's was some of the best rock ever made...and the Scorpions are the $#!&.
@michaelpennington9327

I’ll be 55 this year, too. I first heard the Scorpions when a buddy played Tokyo Tapes just a couple of months before Lovedrive was released. Got hooked instantly and was a fan right away. Then when Lovedrive came out, we all bought it. As much for the music as for the album art. 😁
@donaldhenkel4823
@donaldhenkel4823 2 года назад
@@michaelpennington9327 Um yeah the album art on the early Scorpion albums would never fly now days or the names of the albums either for example Virgin Killer (1976) but the album cover for Lovedrive was helpful in making it a must buy album it was Racey for that time as well but no PMRC to ban titles and covers at this point. Thanks, Tipper, for letting me know exactly what albums to buy...Ban Album = Buy that album or Warning Sticker = Buy That Album. LOL funny how that shit backfired now isn't it. Censorship never works because it just makes you want to understand what others don't want you to know about.

Someone send this to the band so they can watch it! I honestly think they would appreciate it so much! I watched the 3 part mini series of making the album, and you mentioned the stories, what it would be like live and what they were going for, and it lines up perfectly with what they had intended. I actually saw your upload, realized they had a new album coming out, went and watched everything then came back to see your reaction xD
