Great reaction, you 2! You are very nice and knowledgeable. People can get along...if they want. I want it! Liked The Scorpions since a teen in the 80s. Looking forward to more, I'll keep an eye out. Take care!!
Great reaction. When I was in the U.S. Army I saw the Scorpions in concert in Rochester, NY. in 1984. I was stationed in West Germany from 1985 - 1988.
if i learned anything from serving in the navy we can all be like brother's. race creed and color are all the same when you serve a common goal. we can not let petty differences separate us any longer.
This is one... it's not enough to say a great or unique song, this is a song that brought together the dreams and hopes of a whole generation of people from Eastern Europe, and not only those whose dreams were broken. No matter how many times I listen to it my eyes water and the dreams come back again....at least for a little while
COnsidering the situation now. And them being big in russia as well and there are pictures of concerts in russia in that video. It is so effing sad that it had to come to this after the russian population was ready to break free from their hamsterwheel. Iam German, my grandfaterh fought in WW2 on the bad side of history (being drafted though), I served in Ukraine from November last year till August this year as a "mercenary" for the Ukranian army. We were first a unit of foreign mercenary of german, canadian, british, french, polish, chinese and croatians. At least my unit. Then we were parts of different ukrainian groups. Obviously they first had us tested being combat ready due to each of us having served in different armys. Couldnt jsut throw in a few foregners into a group of comrades that know each other and work together since years and risc casualties. I dont have a cool injury to show, I literally jsut broke my foot in the mud and tore my whole calf muscle and have to do physio therapy training to run again. Yes those injuries happen too. Its not always the heroic bullet and granade stories ;) Fighting the same folk that was part of liberating Germany from the Nazis and played the biggest role in WW2 when ti came to it at the biggest cost. Being on the frontlines now there is the same story. Russian government jsut throwing in people and people and people and there si an ongoing wave of wasted lifes that they dont give a rats ass about.
Was a huge time, not long after the wall fell. I remember it well. I was 20 years old, and got to watch the end of the Cold War, the fall of the Iron Curtain, and the reunification of Germany, among other things.
Thank you John and Lulu my brother and sister. This song is so important and so amazing. I wish the whole world would put down the weapons and work things out. We are truly brothers and sisters. Thanks for this great reaction video. I love the Scorpions and saw them live back in the 80's. Amazing concert!! Peace and love only xo
Love your comments, John and lulu. I am from the USA. And I can totally agree with your comments. Brother and Sisters worldwide. LOVE AND FRIENDSHIPS. WORLD PEACE ✌️
The very first time I heard this was while watching a Filipino cover band in Singapore. I had been at sea so didn't get to hear it before that. They killed it (including the whistle) LOVE the Scorpions. I rock with them, but this my favorite song by hem. 10/03/2017 Grand Sierra Resort Reno 😎😎
Um I have requested a very similar song of many reactors. I would love for you to be the first to watch White Lion when the children cry it would be so nice.
Check out the rule of 80, as it seems every 80 years major event happen. Also if we left better children behind would not that equal in a better planet?
Hi John & Lulu, first I met the band when I was a teenager or younger at a concert in a small hall or venue before I became a Musician and it told me "I'm going to be a Musician", but this is a great song
Hello from Switzerland, you have already explained the meaning of the song very well. In Central Europe at least it has become a symbol of reunification and the opening of the East. I think that when it comes to the fight between you and your wife, it's (I assume) more of an exchange of opinions, explanations of your own point of view, which usually results in a compromise. This was, so to speak, not possible at that time between East and West, as they were politically closed to each other (and the eastern civilian population was suppressed/forbidden from communicating with each other). Fortunately, this is history, but unfortunately history always seems to repeat itself. 🤧😭
