The Uli era was their best work imo. Uli had such an influence on their sound that they don't even sound like the same band.

They are not underrated, if you know you know! the word underrated is freakishly over used by morons these days, this is underrated!

When someone says not to overplay a song, it means that you appreciate it and know that is magical. It's the Holy Grail of music treasure found only in this cosmic song.

Fortunately, this song can be played plenty of times over and over without getting old, it's that good.

Yes !!!!!

That's assuming everyone loves music the way we do. Not so. Many people, possibly most, only care about music tangentially. They have no deep inner desire to be swept by the emotions that music creates. They don't feel that way for various reasons- some rather sad- that their hearing apparatus doesn't function as well as others and so they just don't experience the nuances and flow of the melodies. They can't physically hear the harmonies as intended, and so they have to pretend the clunky sounds that their ears are receiving are enjoyable. Some other"s reason for not appreciating music is temperamental. There are many humans who don't take pleasure in any art. Period. Painting, music, sculpture. Whatever the medium, they don't hardly care. In fact, they'll often voice derision at some artistic expression that they consider unsuitable,- unwarranted. Those people will often seem to have an exalted opinion of art, and present themselves as only meaning for the best- but in actuality, likely not realized by even themselves, their emotions are somewhat deadened to outside influences, especially art. Close family and religious ceremonies might shake them emotionally- hence their approval of artistic religious projects- but artwork outside of those realms they feel nothing for- except dislike and contempt. More positive of that type are probably perplexed and confused by the motives behind different artworks. Either way, their disapproval is inevitable- and not always kept to their selves. And so the dislikes. I can even hear them complaing-"and what exactly IS a yellow raven anyway?"

Now hold on there a sec. I'm a huge scorpions fan of both incarnations- (psychedelic phase preferred) but no body is heavier than Sabbath. At least, no one back in the 70s. Not consistently, with some classical guitar flourishes to ease the weight of the music and make each album more palatable. As an aside- my problem with Metallica: Some great music, but without the florid guitar pauses I find listening to an entire album tedious. The same fast chords style on every single song. Even though I like each song individually- when taken one after another they begin to bleed into one another and I get bored with them. Again, even though I like nearly every song on an album- i can rarely listen to the entire album before getting burnt out. Anyone relate?
