Thanks for the video! I have been there with my daughter. No, correctly said, she was waiting for me in the car. In 2009 it was completely overgrown and the visit of the ruin gifted me a lot of scratches from the surrounding blackberries an stitches from the nettles. But it was great to be there!! I loved the view to Tantallon Castle an the shoreline. I have been in Scotland five times and have visited around 160 castles, abbeys, towers and ruins. It was my favourite hobby. Greetings from Germany :)

I have done some small research on an ansestor that came from scotland and I have a few ansestors who lived in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland in 1600s One of them is marked down as died at cult castle of Midlothian. But when i search to find info about the castle its like it didnt exist. could the name have been changed over time? I know cult castle sounds terrible but Iv got to know where to go from here.
