I'm Scottish mate, I've got them tattooed on my forearm, spent 22 years in the Army and because the time spent away and not been able to get to an international it turns out my first one was against England at Hampden in 2017 when Griff scored 2 and it was the best I've ever experienced at a football game, Scottish fans are on a different level when it comes to passion, no doubt..
Then for Bonny Scotland... I’ll play for you! Coming from an Englishman, I wish we had an anthem like Flower of Scotland and the greatest football song ever, ‘we have a dream’. Fucking epic chills 😢
This is powerful stuff, watching Denis law overcome with emotion, on playing for Scotland, I put my hands to my face, What a great man and a 1st class ambassador to Scotland and Scottish football.
Absolutely outstanding Byron! On another note, every player in, and on the fringes of, the Scotland squad should be shown that clip of Denis Law talking about being selected for Scotland.
There's a huge portrait of Denis Law in his Scotland kit in the door way of the Athenaeum hotel on Union street. The city and people are very proud of him and he never let Scotland down.
Was hopeful for this. Always gets ye pumped. And also, never seen that clip of Denis Law breaking down speaking about the pride of playing for your country, need more attitudes like that.
Dennis Law epitomised how I feel about being Scottish, all of the ups 'n downs, never mind that I never realised my schoolboy dreams. Being Scottish is all.
The first 5 mins OMG CANT WAIT FOR SCOTLAND TO BE GREAT ONCE AGAIN. THE GREATEST FANS EVER MAN. I HAD SOOO MANY GOOSEBUMPS AND THE HAIRS ON THE BACK OF MY NECK WAW. BELIEVE EVERYBODY IN OUR COUNTRY WE CAN DO THIS. THE SONG WITH IT MAN WOW. CANT WAIT SCOTLAND. SOOO FREAKING EMOTIONAL
Denis Law - The Only Scotsman To Win A Balon d'or, said with tears in his eyes, that the greatest honour he every had, was to be selected for the Scotland National Team. This was beautifully done by the way 🦄
I was born in 1999 so I have never been born when Scotland have been in a major finals. Hopefully this is it about time if that's the case, closest I've seen us nearly getting there was euro 2008 where we got cheated by the Italians in the last game Cmon Scotland!!
Simply amazing, the best preview video I've ever seen, I've watched it twice so far, but I have a feeling I'll watch it another few more, just brilliant !
Brilliantly put together man! Can tell a huge amount of work went into this and it’s really well done. I don’t even care where we go from here I’m just so happy to see us in a major tournament in my lifetime haha
Only just found this video and I must say the first 5 and a half minutes are an extraordinary piece of film. The music, the tributes to the brilliant Scottish teams of the 60's, 70's and 80's, the tournaments in the 90's, King Kenny & Dennis Law, and those moments against France and England - just goosebumps and real emotion!
I remember watching Scotland nearly draw with Brazil in the opening match at France 98....I was a college sophomore in California and only a handful of students were into the WC at that time...Loved the passion from the Tartan Army...they are a class act and deserve to be at Euro 2020
Dennis Law you are a true Scot one of the finest men to ever adorn a Scotland jersey and to see you so privileged to present your country,Scotland is so very proud of you.I cried when i saw you and what it meant to you.Thank you.🏴
This video is brilliant. Brought tears to my eyes remembering where I watched those games and goals, who I watched them with, some of them gone but not forgotten
Wow goosebumps galore for the first 5 mins absloutley sensational!!!!🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
I just hope that we get out the group its gonna be hard but c'mon Scotland you've done us aw proud. I like other tartan army fans want nothing more than to see our boys make history it's been long time since 1998. So more heroics from stevie Clarke and company will be very nice good luck Scotland at euro 2020
Yeah fairplay I'm a proud Englishman 🏴 always a special occasion when England v Scotland. Even when it's a friendly it's the only England friendly I can get up for but when it's in a major competition like Euro 96 or a Qaulifier even better.
Excellent stuff mate. Will be watching the first half all day before the Czech game! What doc did you get the Ferguson, Roxburgh, Law and Dalglish interviews from?
I look back at Scotlands football world cups etc with frustration especially 74,78,82,90, we should of got out the group but sadly we didnt have bit of luck when we needed. I think not having a manager that could of played right system with the sides of 74 and 78 especially ally McLeod wasnt the right coach. I know jock Stein took charge later but sadly died which would of took a lot out of the players. But now 2020 stevie clarke and his squad has amazingly qualified for euros I do give the manager lots of praise considering when he came in the nation and the squad was at a low but hes got structure and togetherness with the lads and spirit I really hope Scotland can do what northern Ireland, republic of Ireland, and wales did at 2016 I am very proud of the side and stevie Clarke to get there it will be very tough against Czechs,Croatia, and of course England at Wembley but I am looking forward to how we get on am optimistic
