Fun fact #1: the song is by Runrig, for whom Bruce Guthro (from Nova Scotia) was the lead singer for many years. Fun fact #2: I'm also from Nova Scotia. The next comment is from someone in Mexico, which is where I am as I type this, and the people I'm visiting (my sister and nephew) will be visiting Scotland this summer!
I love how much pride the Scottish have for their country, one day I want to visit there for an extended period of time and just experience their culture.
Wanted to write the same thing. With music from the speakers you could do this in some countries, but the whole stadium by heart. That is so impressive and so Scotland.
I only would’ve been 3 years old on this day, gives me tears 😭 and now I hope no more years of pain because now we have a good quality team with some fantastic youngsters 🙏🏴💙🤍💙🤍
Your Scottish people aren't normal (not meant negative). I like your way of supporting your teams. Next year in spring I will be in Scotland and I will definitely try to visit one of the games. Best regards from a German man, who loves Scotland and the Scottish people. Your country is great...
I got the melody from my Yamaha keyboard, and found out the song. This was so amazing and although me and my family's never been to Scotland, we fell in love with Lomond. I sung this song while playing the piano at my school's talent show last year and I won the third prize!!
im English... i lived in scotland a few years ago only for 2 years like before havin to come bck to england But i have to say, My God this video made me even PROUD, not of my heritage but of a Great Magical Country i once called Home. such a proud feeling i have watching this video, Amazing...
Here in St Maarten we have had so many Scots come through and this is the passion we all share. Paisley from my heritage, Canada as my birth, Caribbean as my home, Scotland for my strength.
@UChdAwTEXDsPeBOpeoihh1wA Just a family connection through my Mom. I was born and raised in Canada and spend most my time in warm places with nice beaches.
Everytime when I hear this song I get goosebumps all over my body. I visited SCOTLAND for 4 times and next year I'll come back to Scotland. Visiting SCOTLAND is like coming home. Heartily greetings from a German guy who loves Scotland. Scotland I miss you so much
It's great to see this... the fans, the song, the mood. One of my biggest dreams is to watch a game of the scottish team in Glagow and in the half-time to sing this song with the scottish fans. this is so awsome. Greetings from Germany
I'm from Germany but I love Scotland. I've been there several times and I surely will ge back there. By the way: This song is the hymn of my footbal club, 1. FC Köln. Of course with different lyrics, but the melody is the same. Thumbs up for Scotland!!!
can´t stop watching this. much love from austria. what a shame our game is already in march with everything being shut down, would have loved traveling to scotland. one day I´m gonna visit you guys to live this first hand. already looking forward to have you in vienna

Were rich because we are happy with what we got not like england who keeps needing they will never be happy just look it there history for the 1st reason pal god bless our country and country men woman and children FTEE!
I was born Scottish, I am delighted to be Scottish. My one hope and prayer is that the People of Scotland get off their knees and leave the ridiculous "united kingdom" This was a concept to allow England to dominate, rule and abuse the First Nation of Scotland. ALBA GO BRACH
Can't believe that was 4 years ago.... My third Scotland game. Today should be amazing and hopefully we have the same or even better support!!!! Come on Scotland!!!
When somedays I got he chance to be born again, I want to enter the world as a scotish football fan... All tha Mac´s are wonderfull, even if you won or losse the game.!
The Scottish Fans are the best fans of the world greetings from Germany i hope Scotland gets the Independence from great Britain and enter the European Union
"We are the Lassies of Mac Arthur High, of our fame we couldn`t be prouder. We`re loyal and true to our colors White and Blue and we`ll back the mighty Brahmas, what `er they may do..." Beat Lee!!
so glad i found this video , me being 11 years old at the time was somewhere in the crowd singing along , games like this make me proud to be Scottish , 1:30 :')
The tartan Army are brilliant! How can the players no score a goal with that support, jeezuz! I was especially proud of them at the 1.30 point, they really kept it together! Do you think you need to be Scottish to get how good this is? I hope not!
No I don't believe you HAVE to be Scott to appreciate a great game, but I do have a bit of that Scottish blood running through my viens so when I hear a phrase or a good Scottish tune I tend to smile and remember how beautiful and magical the land is and wish I were away.
Mr. Buzz_Zard i.r.wretchid I don't mean the game, I mean the atmosphere! All they fans singing the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, it gives me goose bumps! The Scotland fans are great, the team's rubbish, lol!
lyndsay crawford You don't have to be Scottish to appreciate that. I am German and I f*ckin love the Scots. Such a lovely country and the best football fans in the world. I'll even cheer for Scotland against Germany...
worldofjerseyconcepts That's because you know they've no chance of winning, lol, I'm jkn! The fans are amazing, it would be nice if the team could win every now and then and really give them something to sing about! But we don't let something like a loss stop us from celebrating and more importantly drinking, lol! Ironically enough, Germany are always my favourite to win! The national team are absolutely brilliant and deserve to be the world champions! :)
Love it. Part of my heritage ....a Canadian born and bred who knew where he came from and loves it. Up the Celtic and 'Mon Scotland...intae the y English.
