Thank you for that post about how much u liked Scotland when you visited. I'm from Scotland originally but live in Australia now but still Scotland lives in my heart, we come from s small island called Islay in the Inner Hebrides known very much for its whisky, it has now 9 or 10 distilleries on that small island and so many tourist and whisky connisours ?? spell checks not on 🤭 go there now, you may even have been there yourself anyhoo! nice chatting while my other half who is a mad Manchester United fan so he's not very happy at the moment with his team. He's originally from Manchester so has supported them since a young boy ....bye now ...SLAINTE 🏴
@@stephenoggihodnett3153 You are welcome! Unfortunately I was not able to visit your recommendation last time, because of the time. However maybe I will next time :). I am planning to visit Scotland again with a friend in a year or two :D. While talking about whiskey, I actually visited the destillery from "Glen Fiddich" (hope I wrote that correctly) and I had a very nice day there. I feel with your better half xD I am a Schalke fan myself and our team now did not win a single game since January, which means 19 games without a win. Guess that is what we need to go through as real fans sometimes :)
#Noobschrauber Just read your marvellous comments. It's really great reading your post. We Are good people here and I wish us Scots would remember that always. Greetings to you in Germany. Haste ye back ! We're still here and waiting to greet you again ! 🏴
@Gary Mcatear the picts were likely to be picts as the language they spoke (from the little we have) is brythonic celtic. However it is a unique brythonic celtic language due to the relative isolation scotland had at the time
Power of a song. Doesn't matter what the song or music is, when the Scottish fans sing it loud and proud in the stadiums, you just know the party is starting as we turn every song into an anthem!! #noscotlandnoparty
I love my country! 💙💙 unites all fans from clubs (except a minimum Celtic and Rangers fans who are supporting Ireland and England but majority support their home country)
JDB P hibs are a scottish team scotlands in britain... makes us a british club whats your point. if a hibs fan supports ireland with no connection to ireland then its just plain stupid
lol hypocrite you were only arguing on Tartan Army Page with me yesterday saying how dare I slag the Rangers fans yet you clearly done it there! You know banter hen it goes like this most of my mates are huns but if they support Scotland they are my fellow country men same goes for Celtic supporters. Only the small majority support either Ireland or England and normally because they are from there. I will always and remain a Scotland fan no matter what! JDB P will also too as he is a Scotsman as will you. As I stated yesterday your opinion is yours as mine. But you argued blindly when I slagged the Rangers saying they are just as much fans as us now 2 months earlier you said otherwise!! ROFL hypocrite
That was not the Scottish national anthem sorry to inform you...we kinda have 2 national anthems in Scotland...'Flower of Scotland and Scotland the brave'. This song is a song written in memory of 2 Scottish Jacobite soldiers who were captured by the British soldiers. It's a song about which one lives and which one dies.
I'm kinda fecked as I was born in Germany but my heart and soul will always be Scottish & we the Irish & Welsh fans are the greatest fans in the world who are welcomed like a prodigal son returning home
@@garymcatear822 They never said it was a ‘National’ anthem. It definitely fits the definition of an anthem though:- a rousing or uplifting song identified with a particular group, body, or cause We can all agree it’s a class song
Ralf Rath It’s the other way round mate - England needs Scotland (Scotland would be better and richer without England). Hence why the English got down on their knees and begged us to stay in the last independence referendum.
