One of the best videos on the whole of RU-vid. Such spectacular, breathtaking scenery...I'd be hard pressed to pick a place to settle if I were lucky enough to be moving to Scotland. So gratifying to me to see modern buildings built around the ancient ruins that whisper of antiquity.... Here, most would have been torn down long ago... A great many of the early Scots settlers here in Bruce County, Ontario, had their place of origin engraved on their tombstones in addition to their names. In years of volunteering for the local genealogical society, I never saw that on the gravestones of German, English or French settlers; only the Scots wanted it known that they were strangers here. Or that they came from somewhere too beautiful to ever forget.
