@@the-other-windsors No, the midgies, the locals laugh at the tourists as they do what's known as the tourist dance trying to keep the buggers off, they didn't bother me but my other half came out in red blotches on her face, like measles. Also visit Elgol on Skye the view from the beach across to the Cuillins is jaw dropping.

Ah..now we get it! They don't seem to bite Bernie so much, but me! On Arran I was bitten by horse flies. Should have seen my legs, blisters galore! Thanks for the Elgol tip. Maybe next time 😊🐕🚙

We were in Fraserburgh last year. Some beautiful fishing villages S well up there. Got my Rosehearty mixed with Rosemarkie...wanted to see Dolphins lol. Would love to have seen the chipshop man's face! 😊🐕🚙

We had a steak pie one year and it was lovely. Sat outside in the patio area and Blue made friends with some bikers 😊🐕🚙

Hi. It wasn't too long a wait to be honest, not for us anyway. We were in no hurry. We most likely drove through Girvan on our way up from the Mull of Galloway a few years back. We actually pulled over for lunch in a layby directly opposite Ailsa Craig. Amazing watching the gannets fishing 😊🐕🚙

We did start to add what3words references, but decided not to continue. It's better if we as tourists spread out and not overcrowd spots. Sometimes it can't be avoided. Hi. It's an old term. In the days of black and white lol...stair carpets weren't fitted edge to edge. They just ran up the centre of each step, held in place by Stair rods. So when the rain is extremely heavy, it looks like there's no individual drops, but it's coming down in straight continous lines. Hence, it is coming down in stair rods.😁🐕🚙

Hi. No offence taken. We totally understand and are sorry for this issue. Yes, Creators do have control over the volume. The problem we have personally shoukd be resolved for any future content. Can't speak for other channels. Our problem was that we didn't have any microphones, so any voice audio was so quiet, the volume had to be increased as much as possible and still sometimes it was difficult to hear. Meaning there was no option for the viewer but to turn up the volume. We have noticed ourselves that many channels edit their music sections at 100% and we also find that too loud sometimes. We limit our music audio to around 68%. Still an issue if you've had to increase the volume for speech clips. We really hope the recently obtained microphones such balance thing out. Thank you for sticking with us and thank you for raising such an important enjoyment issue.😊🐕🚙

Hi yes, been and stayed before, not on camera. We use Arran as a jumping point to the Highlands. Saves the tedious drive up the M74. Love it and we'll end the trip with a night stop on Arran 😊🐕🚙

Hi. They really have shot up in price recently. Apart from us remembering getting a fish and chips for 1 and 6 old money. You used to be able to get fish and chips twice for that only a couple of years ago. They are around £12.50 now in England too🙄🐕🚙

Good morning. Sorry if we caused any offence. The comment regarding civilisation was because we'd been on the road for 3 weeks, staying first in Shetland. We don't as a rule stay in laybys, so having other vans there felt more comfortable. We weren't insinuating that it's dangerous in Scotland, far from it. We love Scotland, but not everyone loves us. 🙄🐕🚙

Same when we go south Im afraid not everyone down there like Scottish people . However you can stay pretty much anywhere in Scotland for the night but not in England nor is it very safe , no offence oh sorry .

Tourist prices, but they're not far off £9 takeaway price around here in Cumbria. We pais almost £20 in the famous Frankie's in Shetland (eat in) mind you...they were amazing! 😬🐕🚙

Hi. We used to live in Keswick and went back recently. Most pubs, shops allow dogs in. As long as the owners are sensible, as you say dogs under their own table it works. There were 6 dogs in our pub when we had lunch. Could be a little unpleasant if all 6 had been wet, but no bother and other customers seemed to enjoy petting them. 🙂🐕🚙

yes much more friendly atmosphere when dogs are around i think? also was in london about 2 years ago with step son he wanted a coffeee while waiting so gave him a fiver and off into shop he went, came back out and said cash only lol! anyway went around corner and found a charity shop cafe and 2 ladies inside with dogsso we went in and had a coffee and a chat and the coffee was half the price of the woke cash only coffee bar catering for virtue signallers so happy days i say @@the-other-windsors

😁 we both remember them being one and six! Once walked home instead of using the bus fare my mum gave me. So I could buy some chips for 6 old pennies!😊🐕🚙

We certainly enjoyed our month long trip through Scotland. Starting in Shetland, moving south onto Orkney and finally working south down the west coast. We had everything weather wise and provided a travelling banquet for the wee midges too! Our trip took place during May 😊🐕🚙

Hi we've actually eaten in Oban Wetherspoons on 2 separate occasions in that outdoor area. Mind you, it was back in 2017 and 18 respectively. Not been back due to Covid till this year. 😕🐕🚙
