Scott has the looks and in my opinion the acting talent to play most any role! If they are overlooking Scott Adkins because he is first, a martial artist/fighter, then they will be missing out on an individual that has the potential to literally skyrocket whatever mainstream character role he was cast in! At this writing, I believe the role of Batman has already been signed. But I feel Adkins could fulfill the wants and needs of the most demanding roles out there! Stunning looks, serious acting skills, and if physical is what you need for the part, there simply is no-one that compares, not even comes close! He is also English, and though he can pass as American in his speech, off camera he still sports that English accent rather well. So then, and you've probably guessed it already, I feel he would be the perfect choice to be cast in the role for the next....JAMES BOND! You should be giving a glimpse of the talent of Scott Adkins to the producers of the Bond films...that would be, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, EON Productions, operating from Pinewood Studios, UK.

After watching this, it saddens to see that we could have gotten a Batman that fit perfectly with the role, but easily get passed up over false accusations and poor communication.

Have you not seen Undisputed 3? Adkins can play one-hell of an intimidating character with a bad-ass attitude. And he's got the biggest build muscle-wise out of all the other contenders currently.

The "Being a Detective" part of the story and the gadgets is the work of the Director and Writers really, after all, those require scenes and plots. And I totally agree about him knowing only 1 martial art, especially in the 3rd Movie. The voice concept is actually a nice addition, though it does sound like having throat cancer, it does help hide his identity. I was actually surprised that Scot Adkins played Deadpool. He indeed have the looks to pull off a Playboy Bruce.

I have been watching this mans career since he first came out and I know that he would do the role of batman justice.

Kevin Smith came out and said that Ben Affleck performed in Daredevil with Batman in-mind... Not a good sign.

Clooney did that performance, man. And Clooney said HIMSELF that if he became Batman again, regardless of director, writer, or whatever he would play Batman the exact same. That's what an actor does; they act and play the part of a character. A bad script and directing can only partially effect it.

Dunno how much more specific "Batman" can get. They interrupted the director's vision. Things he planned for in the first one are now going to have to be postponed or changed to make room for Batman.

I'm depressed, FutureGohanSSJ2. I wouldn't have minded seeing Scott Adkins for Batman after watching your videos. He would've brought a missed dimension to the character that was missing on the big screen for years. I thought my sister was joking when she texted me about Affleck being Batman. My heart sank when I saw it confirmed on IGN. If this movie bombs, maybe WB will learn their lesson and completely hand the DC cinematic universe to DC, but even that's a stretch if that happens.

Scott Adkins is really the best actor for Batman Live. And the presence of Batman in the movie Man of Steel 2 has to be marked, not by the foolishness of using the Affleck and grossing be minimal, but this time for allowing the man bat is well represented in film.

Martial Arts is no cake walk either. And teaching people to act takes MUCH less time than teaching someone actual martial arts. Teaching someone to act could probably take months. Martial Arts? That would take years of hard work and dedication.

Affleck freaking played a superhero before and failed. Affleck said himself, and I quote: "By playing a superhero in 'Daredevil,' I have inoculated myself from ever playing another superhero. Wearing a costume was a source of humiliation for me and something I wouldn't want to do again soon." He was so bad, the fans also banned him from ever being in a superhero film again. So, yes. Ben Affleck is one of the worst choices you could have made.

No. The official casting call started in July, I believe. They wouldn't have had other people come auditioned if they "already had their Batman". It hasn't, actually. In fact, Zack Snyder? The director of this movie and the previous Man Of Steel film? He was just as surprised as we were when the Superman/Batman crossover was announced for Man Of Steel 2 at Comic-Con. He wanted another film just developing Superman's character. He doesn't even want to do this movie, but he has to.

For fuck's sake, it's over two years later now. I revisit this video and see the new comments, and there are STILL people that are FOR this idea??!! They're still making a fuss about it, won't let it go, creating delusions in their head. Meanwhile, most of the population are living in reality and have accepted the truth. If they didn't always support Affleck (like me), they have come around on it. Which is another "No Duh!!" situation. Sadly, as I mentioned, there are still those that can't get over it. But they're just a pathetic minority who are insignificant and left in the dust at this point. Besides, it was only really about stroking their ego. As he was meant to do for role of Dredd, though. Obviously I'm not saying copy and paste his performance onto a Batman role, just that for me he has displayed the ability to play such a character very well. While I have not problem with Adkins, I feel that there is a much better choice: Karl Urban. Has anyone watched Dredd? Everything from the gruff voice, mannerisms, and 'interrogation' techniques are all spot on for an interpretation of Batman. Plus, he's a successful actor that is just enough under the radar for this, which is perfect.

You realize those 2 situations are not even REMOTELY similar, yes? With Heath, we'd never seen him do a role with anyone even CLOSE to The Joker. We never knew what he could do with the role. Ben Affleck, on the other hand, HAS. He played Daredevil and was absolutely terrible. And to make matters worse, he said he played Daredevil the way he wanted to play Batman. So, yes, we know EXACTLY how he's going to play Batman, and he's going to be awful.

Yes, and George Clooney, a far more experienced actor, said that if he got to be Batman again, he'd do his performance the exact same way as he did in Batman & Robin because he didn't know what he did wrong. And that movie was 15 years ago. Yeah, Affleck's out of his league. lol. The director has nothing planned. Warner Bros actually decided all of this THEMSELVES. Zack Snyder had no say in the matter and quite frankly doesn't care too much for the situation.

David S. Goyer wrote Man Of Steel and worked heavily on it with Zack Snyder. Zack, being the director, has the final say on all the decisions that are made. Ever heard of script doctoring? If there's anything in the script that the director doesn't want or doesn't agree with, the scriptwriter has to change it to better fit the desires of the director. So, yes. The director's vision. Oh, and David S. Goyer was surprised by this decision by Warner Bros. as well, and also didn't want to do it.

It's crazy how no one is objectively watching this video. Adkins can act. ..for years I taught he was slavic or east European till I learned he was 100% English. His acting in Universal soldier 4 and Assasin games are solid. .his fights scenes are amazing. We need a Batman closer to his comics Adkins is necessary.

Yes, I agree, Tony Jaa might be a good bet. It seems he likes hard hitting scenes. Though I would like for Batman to fight more like how he was supposed to be trained. I want him to use more Ninjutsu other than the disappearing act, batarangs, and smokescreens. Would it not be awesome to see him use some Wushu or some Kung Fu and Karate moves instead of the Brawl-type fisticuffs. A bit more acrobatics would be a plus I believe.

We're not talking about Joel Schumacher though. We had a solid cast and directing team with the first film and now they're bringing a fairly good actor that meets the age, look and build requirements to play Batman in the sequel. His directing will play somewhat of a role considering Snyder likes to interact and collaborate with his actors for input. Please watch this video without bias and be objective. Scott Adkins like Christian Bale was not well known, he actually only did dramatic b movies. Scott Adkins has a solid acting background that's overshadowed by his martial art movie work. But his Acting on Assassination Games, Undisputed 2, Undisputed 3 and Universal Soldier 4 had me asking why this guy never got his big break stateside. Man this was a great video. Scott has to get this role I'm at the point now if Warner bros don't pick him my excitement about this movie will leave. This movie is about Batman vs Superman, Not Clark Kent vs Bruce Wayne. It will be about a great story and Action. I'm, tired of them picking actors who can't fight, don't look the part, and its all left up to the stunt team. With Scott you get the total package a great actor and martial artist.
