After they retired, Tessa was asked why. She said they were very different people and that it was just a line they didn't cross because they didn't want to jeopardize this goal that they both had. I have no doubt they thought each other to be attractive - just maybe not attractive to each other in that particular way. But they did speak about how much they loved and adored each other and had a bond that they didn't fully understand.

I'm wondering if it was difficult for them growing up together and having this bond that would grow into a love for each other and navigating outside relationships not only with whom they were dating but with each other. Like did either one of them feel something once the other one got like their first boyfriend or girlfriend?

I'm really intrigued by his body language - the crossed arms, the tension and fidgeting in his fingers. Crossed arms is usually a sign of anxiousness or insecurity!

Scott's body language and mouth movements were telling. Scott's admitted to having a temper. Crossing arms can indicate a need to refrain emotions from others and keep themselves contained. It could be his need to protect her. I'm sure navigating the first time they each have had a boyfriend or girlfriend couldn't be easy. Especially, when it was the first one. Plus with growing up together, skating together and their bond.

Tessa was probably being respectful of his feelings as well with what he was going through so not sure if it's because of that there's no spark. I really hope so too. They love each other and should definitely let the other one know even where they are at in their current lives. Life is too short not to tell your love ones how much they still mean to you. And that support can help them with where they are now. Who knows if they will really need to rely and support each other as time goes on. Their growth away from each other could possibly help the other one as well...

actually they are always together practicing ..so even if they broke up they are literally always together..they see each other's face every single hour a day...actually the are BFF..that is important...if they start dating again their career would be harmed

I've wondered if the breaking up that happened hurt Tessa on some level over the years emotionally. She said that she was very sad when he called it off because she really liked Scott ..But, because she liked him so much, did a young Scott still agree to stay her partner and then she agreed because she enjoyed skating with him and enjoyed to learn more about skating at such a young age.
