Scott Morgans story is UNBELIEVABLE this man was literally the stereotype of A Homeless Addict who bounced from Villaige to Town & Town to City.
It was only only during Lockdown he started to realise he had the potential of changing.
Now he is a True Recovery Advocate who works in services helping others change.

20 years in addiction and recovery and im 41. I was clean for over 10 yrs then relapsed during lockdown for a few months. Iv been off the H and slowly tapering off 75ml daily dose of methadone now for 3 years. Im on a tiny 4ml now and in the local SMART recovery groups, iv had similar experience and story to scott. This has been really interesting thanks Cull

Good luck to anyone who is going through this.Ex prison officer with changed attitude over the years.Hated excuses originally but when people came in and did all they could to get clean you realised what was needed was the back up when people left. There was a divide years back but did improve as time went on. Central club keep smashing it.

Thanks for uploading mate, currently on high dose of methadone myself but managed to reduce my using down to 1-2 times a week and struggling to get myself going due to awaiting an operation so temporarily disabled and content like this is really helpful mate

best podcast hands down , love to everyone in recovery , and everyone stuck in addiction, your never alone, i'm in recovery myself 7 yrs , only recently one day at a time has sunk in properly after a difficult time , i've taken some of the 12 steps but it wasn't for me totally, accountability has been the most progressive step for me , ❤

As a lad from a small town in North Wales who's an alcoholic, I can relate to this guys story so much, especially the bit about feeling accepted from taking drugs at about 14-15, weird thing that, how you think getting on it is the shit when you're younger until you're trapped in it, great episode lads

Community service is a joke. We picked up litter in an area we picked up. As a chef of 25 years I could have offered my service to local food banks and taught basic cookery or used my skills to cook for the community.

I spent 13 addicted to heroin and i’ve never got the ‘warmth’ thing. It was never like that for me. Sadly, I always felt complete as a person the second it hit me, but that’s obviously down to the plug being pulled out in your brain. The problem with heroin is that it works brilliantly, but it rewires your brain. And it takes years to undo that wiring. I don’t miss the chaos of that life, but I often miss the drug itself as it’s truly like no other.

Yes heroin takes and holds all your problems away till you stop and it all comes back, thats the hardest thing with recovery not comeing off but getting your head back without going back
