Excellent video! I'm going to do mine with your method. I noticed that the new spring is not sandwiched between the spacer as the original was. Was that the way you wanted it, or was it one of the 'dang it' moments?
Hi Steve! Good eyes! The point is that the new spring from aircraft spruce is much stronger (thicker) than the original one. So the spacers didn’t fit anymore, there was not enough space left. But from overhauling already 3 others I had some old ones left. But the first time I made a new one cut out of some metal. But never had any troubles with the new spruce spring. Works perfect
