Weiland was a Rockstar, straight up. Looks like Clint Eastwood and David Bowie wrapped up in one giant ball of talent and cool. 12 Bar Blues is a masterpiece that one day hopefully folks will recognize. RIP Legend
Love this performance! Nine months later that stage had a baby. Scott is easily in the top five frontmen ever AND top five sexiest humans ever. We love and miss you dearly, brother.
Everytime which is often I watch this and get drunk and cry. What a song and I had the chance to see him in PA .Didn't make it .He had it. charisma on stage and the voice is top 5 for me.
I was exactly a meter away from Cyndi Lauper after being given a free ticket to her concert. She climbed to our area with her corset and heels. Amazing woman. She sang the blues like no one and I loved every song even if I didn't know a single one.
I frightening myself the other night on the eve of the anniversary of his death I start listening to STP without knowing. I was very fortunate to have see him live twice once with STP and the other with Velvet Revolver. His solo album 12 Bar blues is simply a masterpiece. I stay great joy in this phenomenal performance of Barbarella. A true Rock star.
Yeah if you turned off the video and titles and skipped a minute into the video you would swear it was David Bowie singing with Cyndi. Not trying to criticize Scott or David. Just never realized how similar their voices were.
i know this is late but they were kindred spirits www.nme.com/news/music/david-bowie-tried-to-reach-out-to-stone-temple-pilots-frontman-scott-weiland-before-his-death-2383311
Dude....I watch this and cannot wrap my head around the massive gift Scott had....I wonder if he ever saw himself in this video and if he did, how come his addiction was stronger than THIS! RIP Scott......
