To me, it sounds like, that he tried to get out of traffic and do what he wanted to do because he is a Golfer, “the number 1 in the World” He didn’t listen to the “Police Officer” because he thought it was an “Security Guard ( You are nobody attitude, Do you know who I am”. Scottie mentioned he thought he was a Security Guard because of the yellow jacket he had on. So he gave the guard less respect and tried to do what he wanted to do because who he is. Power and Control. He was a little cocky to me on the press conference. Witnesses seem like they on Scotties Side because He Is “The Worlds Number 1 Golfer” , “ The Number 1 Golfer in the World” As he can do any wrong. The Policer should have had on his body camera. Dude had his golfer credentials (that every golfer had, not just "The Number 1 Golfer in the World) that is to specifically let him go around backup traffic to get into the venue. The police that arrested him were not part of the actual detail assigned to the course, those were actually all cops who volunteered and were fans of golf and would know who the golfers were. These cops were there for the accident that happened (which could not be seen from where the incident with Scottie took place) and they lit him up because they thought he was just some guy trying to drive past their investigation. And of course they had their big swinging cop egos come into play when that happened. How dare this punk think he can drive past us? We are the LAW. And then one of the dipshits actually throws himself at the car Scottie is driving like he's Action Jackson or something, just so they could charge him with the felony. The whole thing is overhyped cop egos and their shoot first, ask questions later mentality. The charges will get fully dropped, and there will be some apologies made. And the only benefit that Scottie got from being "The Number 1 Golfer in the World" was that the BS he had to deal with was public enough because of who is he, that they couldn't just sweep their mess-up under the rug.

@@krystalbbeautiful8569 Are you demented? He was doing exactly what he was told. He was in a marked PGA vehicle and showed his badge. This cop decided no one was allowed to enter on a whim, which makes no sense. No one is going to believe this cop had no idea he was in the entrance to a major sporting event and that people were instructed to enter this way. This cop committed a crime, which is why he faked injury and went to the hospital. The prosecutors will drop this, but they likely want to make sure they scare him with the threat of refiling charges if he speaks out. They want their victim to be silenced and want to protect the crooked officer.

The whole started because of somebody was killed by by another driver. Cop blocked up the path to quarrantine the crime scene. I guess scheffler got impatient or was drunk and started arguing with a cop to let him through which escalated to this
