Thanks for the kind comments. It’s pretty much how it is in the video, with the main route going from Oban to Barra, then up to Stornoway in Lewis, across to Ullapool, around part of the NC500 route to Scrabster (near Thurso), up to Orkney, then Shetland, and finally a ferry down to Aberdeen. It took us 3 weeks in total (which included a couple of nights in Fort William beforehand), as we spent a few nights in Oban, Stornoway, Kirkwall in Orkney, and Lerwick in Shetland to allow some time to explore that particular area/island. So, using those places as bases, we rode out each day to visit the places of interest… Regards, Paul
