What makes this a Scottish Templar sword? Is there any difference between orders of different countries?

Hello, thanks for the great question! There were connections between the Scots and the Knights Templar, as they had a considerable amount of land in Scotland. Also, there are multiple legends about the Knight Templars escaping to Scotland to escape persecution. These legends and connections help inspire the naming of this sword with its crossed pommel.
