🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can’t tell u how many times people ask about my mint buffalo lawn & I start explaining pre emergents and preventatives.. and it legit goes in one ear and out the other.. and they cut me off and change topic of conversation… ppl want the end result but don’t want to put the effort and passion into it. Doesn’t work like that my bro! They can sit back and envy the mintness when they visit, that’s as close as they’ll get😝😎🔥
Bro i can’t even see my grass right now, just got like 6 inches of snow dumped on it yesterday here in north Jersey lol can’t wait to get things going this season
@@YardBrah thanks bro. Yeah about mid to April is when my tall fescue starts to wake up and get rocking and rolling again. Can’t wait to start throwing down some stuff. *scratches neck aggressively*
Actually bought one over the winter but the transmission was impossible to find 😩 was trying to be different but it will have to wait, I have to buy more mowers 😂😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🔥
Kind of surprising you would have rust mold in the lawn already......only ever get it in early September here in Wisconsin. And then it really doesn't hurt the grass any. It just goes away when cooler temps come in November
Yeah I’m not sure if it’s rust… just orange all over the blades… hard to sell but it looks like only on the perennial rye blades… better to be safe than sorry 😂😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice good plan anytime I think something is gonna happen I always use preventative products Scott’s disease ex azoxystrobin is good next month put down some bio advance fungicide propiconazole to switch it up keeps the disease guessing I do it every month 😊🤙🏾
Brah, I love watching your videos. You have some brown grass, but I remembered that you verticut really early this season. Verticutting can beat up a lawn even during the usual growing season when it's warm, but you did it before you had that snow and freezing temperatures. I'm wondering if doing the verticut is what resulted in some of that brown grass, since it's awfully early in the year to have fungus.
It’s been brown since I started a gain very slow to grow but should be back in action a a couple weeks if we can get some warmer weather and I can get more water on the ground 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🔥 the verticut got a lot of the nasty out def much needed 😊🤙🏾
I use Scott's D Ex here in SC I put it down a lil heavy because I water late evenings or at night and it totally works. I put a heavy app. once a month. I'll start in April and finish up in October 👍🏽
I alternate between Scotts and Bioadvanced (propiconazole) the next month…which also acts slightly as a growth regulator) so start with the azoxy/scotts 👍 I’m the Southern bleeding edge of the transition zone (zone7 life yo!) so I wait till May to start.
YB. Curious serious question my dude I applied crab ex plus “about a week ago” like the song LOL. I have some orange in spots I’ve noticed pre winter would that be ok to stack crab ex with disease your opinion on stacking granular. Thanks man
Oh yeah man I stack granular all the time especially preventative with my experience the ingredients never interfere with each other but always look to make sure ingredients don’t react with each other in a negative way! 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥
If you look closely in your vid, it was right next to the Bioadvanced liquid fungicide when you flashed the Shaka. It has fungicide plus insect killer in one if you’re unsure what’s killing your grass. Should be safe for cool season lawns as well. Fungus pops up all the time here in Hawaii. Hate it but gotta live with it.
Can you put disease x on a 3 month old sod lawn. Should I wait till spring. Thanks Your vids are awesome. 👏. I live in N. Calif. It’s going on tall fescue
You can put it down as it's a preventative and cures... all that watering this product will help prevent anything from harming new seedlings 😊🤙🏾 Read the label to make sure but i've never had any issues applying a couple days before overseeding
It’s so close, I just do recommended rate now this stuff is very effective I don’t see any signs of whatever I was seeing after a couple weeks… after this app the next month I follow up with some propoconizole like bio advanced fungicide 😊🤙🏾
@YardBrah okay thanks. In the future I'm just going to add fungicide to my routine as soon as summer hits given half the rate is needed for preventative for disease ex. I used bio advanced last year (hose attachment) and worked well. Thanks for your vids, enjoy them. 👍 (just got on to syringe, just started doing a mix of deep watering early am and then a couple 2 min cycles during the day for 3x a week)
