I have lived in Scottsdale 35 years and I wouldn't disagree with any of your choices, however many great spots are missed. If I could just add one it would have to be Rancho Pinot Grill, James Beard Best Chef Nominee Chrysa Robertson drives this absolutely flawless and quintessential Scottsdale spot. The PB&J burger at Rehab Burger Therapy is legit AF.
Sorry lived in az and all the actual good food is in Scottsdale better ingredients, better environment. But if u want the cheap meat tacos u can get in south Phoenix or mesa but it’s just a cheap taco anyone can do that
Awesome! Welcome to the Valley of the Sun! I highly recommend the Biltmore in Phoenix if you are still here and inclined to switch hotels during your visit. Nice to see you in my stomps. Original pancake house on Indian School is a great local breakfast stop next to the Motel 6, try the 49'er pancakes, more like a large crepe than pancake. A Suns game would also be a great idea. Once again, welcome to our home and enjoy! I could go on but it looks like you have done your research. Kudos to you for coming here in our record high temp month, most people shy away from mid June. Us locals take advantage of the relatively low hotel rates and make lemonade from lemons this time of year. Los Olivo's in old town is a nice Arizona/border style Mexican food joint you might like. Once again, welcome.
Glad you mentioned craft 64. I’ve gone there both times I’ve been in Phoenix, and look forward to going there again now that we may be moving there in a couple months! That place is awesome. Definitely saving this video so we can try all the places we haven’t been yet. Phoenix’s food and bar scene is amazing
I saw you yesterday on Normas channel cheap eats in Vegas. I subscribed to your channel today...and what a lovely wife you have....Great vid. peace to you and your wife....be safe
No PBJ 4 me ! Glad he enjoyed it 😀. BBQ got my attention quick -looked and sounded like a great breakfast to start the day. TY ⚠️ 4 taking us along the road trip 😁very good info and narrative- 🍻
I only live about 45 mins from Scottsdale but everything I've had food-wise is always super great. I just want to try every restaurant in Scottsdale. Glad you went to Tom's Thumb gas station, my fiance and I love this place. Also I've ordered a PBJ Bacon burger from many places in AZ and they're all fantastic.
Delayed on catching up on the vids but finally got to this and as usual everything looks amazing! Always love your food vids and have wanted to visit Scottsdale so thanks for the tips (whenever I do eventually get there, lol) 😊
You should rename this hidden gems of Scottsdale! Most people of Scottsdale are probably more focused on places like Maple and Ash, Ocean 44, Mastros etc...
Seen this video a few days ago because I just moved to Arizona and I love to dine out and I’ve been trying all the restaurants you recommended so far I tried rehab Burger therapy and I had the P&j Burger it was awesome
You should try Gyros on Redfield and Hayden, approximately. Father & Daughter (Greek) make the best gyros I have ever had. (I'm Greek) Just meat, feta, and tzatziki sauce :) About $10 for a masterpiece. Scottsdale isn't about money, sadly people try to make it that way. "West's most Western Town", Stand Your Ground, Castle Law.
If Chula Seafood isn't on this list, you lose all credibility! Chula Seafood- just north of 202 on hayden in south Scottsdale- there are other locations also- IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!
I will have to check out some of these places. The barbecue and hamburger places look so good. Some of my favorite places to eat here in AZ are Morenos in Mesa, Lenny's Burgers in Mesa, and Edwardos Pizzeria in Superior.
I cannot believe you ate the full stack especially knowing you would be going to other places...wow how do you manage it..also the brussell sprout tortillas !! thats new.American portions are really something else,it always amazed me that in a country that has so much abundance of everything could have so much poverty as well.I never feel those extremes here in UK but in the US that mixture of you could have everything alongside people who seem to have F# all is so jarring, made the States a very disconcerting place to visit for me I'm afraid.
@@HereBeBarr lol,yes it did look remarkably good and I don't eat meat !! something like that would be hard to find in the UK other than a big city and you pay alot for it.American diners do offer some amazing food at reasonable cost. But hey free healthcare over cheap diners !!! hhmm I think I'll take the healthcare :) :) joking,I'm sure its not a matter of swapping one for another.love your videos though and do love seeing all the extravagant eateries because they always leave me in awe ! Loved that hotel you were staying at too...god America is so full of terrible contradictions !!!!
Hey Jon, whats up. I have a question, if i buy a 2 bedroom apartment like 30 minutes to 1 hour away from Manhattan, would around 1500 dollars per month be enough to live?
