I love the Classic Tales videos and Scotty is one of my favorite riders, so this made my day. Now you should try to get Trey Jones on here, I bet that guy has some absolutely insane stories
I still have the finals from the 2011 Dew Tour on an old PS3! Sad to think of how many events BMX had, that are now gone.. Cheers to Vans for still supporting bike riders.
Most awesome dude! Love Scotty! I am so impressed by Vans for continuing to support him, it is well worth your investment. I am 49, don't ride BMX anymore, but will continue to buy Vans (my son buys a new pair every few months). I love his new shoe as well.
I remember this. Scotty was my favorite and you could literally see his teeth slide across the floor on the TV. I didn't watch BMX for like 2 years after that. It scared the crap out of me.
You’re my favourite rider Scotty I didn’t have self confidence or mates to ride with you egging on big boy made me send it in a weird way knowing you have all this knowledge is just awesome I can’t wait for more dude ,you’re recovery is amazing thus far You’re such a G and I can’t wait to see more ,vans send more Kevin peraza my way pls
Another perspective on this story... I was on the deck of a hip just to the right of the box landing and I saw Scotty go for it and clip his front tire, then I saw this white spec fly across the black skatelite and into a bowl corner. I hopped down and picked up Scotty’s tooth and carried it over to the medic (Trish). I serious remember sort of shaking and tapping Trish on the back saying, “I’m not sure if this is useful, but here is Scotty’s tooth.” This was a wild day. Glad you got back up from this, it was a gnarly one.
I remember watching it happen LIVE on tv. Remember shouting “oh fuck” and then “shit!, his teeth just flew out his mouth!” 😱😱😱 was some crazy shit happening back then in the good old dew tour days. 😂😂😂
awww cmon scotty was in his sexy phase back then, at least dhers characters looks like him... :D im jk, i do love that the bmx community embraces the homie now... im from NY and incline was the only thing we had back then, kinda funny how he was inspiring and changing lives back then and continues to today.. what a rad dude.
