This video shows you how to remove the stock exhaust from an Indian Scout or Scout 60 motorcycle. Then it shows you step by step how to install the RPW "Shock 601" full exhaust system. It can also be installed on a Bobber. This is a loud and deep toned system.

I’m glad you showed your struggle with the stock exhaust. That is what I’m currently going through and actually what brought me to this video. I am installing a different after market exhaust but I’m having a heck of a time getting the stock exhaust to come off.

Same here, I can’t get the stock tips to budge. trying to avoid removing the heat shields as I’m just installing new short tips

@@nicolassachs7484 it wasn't necessary to remove the heat shields, I just did that today.

Pro tip: it helps to remove the 13mm bolt at the very end of the mufflers that holds them together and remove them one at a time.

The single use clips/clamps that you have to break off...where can I get more of these and what are they called?

So I had to replace my front header and my rear header/manifold pipe because a car hit me, I didn't have to remove my heat shields on either, as a matter of fact the new parts come with the heat shields preinstalled with the non removable clamps on the rear header/manifold.

What did you use to flash the bike? Do you think you can make a video of that process as well? Thanks for posting this, very informative.

This bike is using a tuner that does not require a flash. This is a new product for us and we will be introducing it after some more testing. Look for a video posted here in a few weeks.There will also be some more videos that show a couple different intakes and their installation. www.IndianAftermarket.com will soon be offering complete performance packages with test data.
