It will be pretty epic. But with my trip to Huntsville this summer for the hamfest, I may put it off until next year. Crazy how filled up my summer is already getting! Thanks for watching, Jeff!
Good on you for taking care of yourself and keeping at the CW. I need to get more active myself. The old joints and old healed injuries and surgeries don't like being sedentary. I'm a life member of LICW as well, but I put learning CW very low on my priorities. Keep at it!
Thank you! I know the feeling about how the body can get cranky being sedentary. I also completely get how CW can get knocked down on the priorities list.
Man, I need to get myself one of those Garmin watches to help get me motivated to improve my fitness & health! That Isle Royale trip sound like a blast! Hope to see you in some LICW classes soon. There is a Portable Ops forum on Saturday AM that you would probably like. 73, KF4LMZ
I'm really happy with my Garmin watch. It has help motivate me quite a bit. I need to put the Portable Ops forum on my calendar, for that sounds pretty interesting. Thanks for watching, Swamp Fox!
Even though I have lived in MI my entire life, I have never done Isle Royale. That is on the list. Did Porcupine Mts and Pictured Rocks, recommend you do those if you haven't done them yet. Enjoy!
Hey Shane; welcome (back?) to LICW! I teach a BC2 Class Mondays at 4 and an Intermediate 1 class Fridays at 8 (CST.) Check out BC2, BC3, or INT 1 or 2 to see where you might fit best. Since you already know a lot of CW, BC1 would be too basic. (BC2 likely will be as well.) I am sure we can do 40M and 80M between us when you want to get on the air. Good luck!
