It actually is possible to escape The Old Man's pocket dimension. Several anomalies have done it, just hasn't been proven that humans can. Yet.

Something ive realized that the biggest problem of a broken masquerade scenario to the foundation, isn't the groups of interest, nor the spread of info about the Anomalies, its gonna be the outrage the many is gonna have against the D-Class program

Giving D-Class personal the objective to get out of the old mans pocket dimension, so that they can live free again is a sick joke from the foundtions side. If you are able to escape the pocket dimension, you would probably also be able to escape from the SCP-foundation anyways...

Here's an idea: SCP-106 vs SCP-073. Would the Old Man's anomalous powers override Cain's general invulnerability, or could Cain give the Old Man a taste of his own medicine?

What would happen if you put the ultimate masochist into 106’s pocket dimension? Or someone even more sadistic than the old man himself, would they just become pals and torture people together?

Love how this is basically the episode of dr who. The doctor was put in an eternal prison where he was chased by an entity that would kill him with a touch. Eventually he found a way out but it was blocked by amber. So he kept punching. But was killed everytime due to the entity finding him. He is revived everytime. Then punches the amber once and repeats the cycle. I think he stayed there for a couple million years

So they knew he was innocent and still made him do this experiment. That's so petty.

It’s basically just the episode of doctor who where he got trapped in his own testimony device and was haunted, murdered and resurrected almost infinitely until he either gave it what it wanted or he escaped which he did escape eventually.

There was an episode of Dr Who where he was being chased by death in a perpetual loop and he basically done exactly this. He reached an impassable wall and punched it.... 100s of 1000s of times. Each time the monster caught him, each time he died, each time the nightmare reset... But the damage didn't.

The pocket dimension is obviously very close, probably directly connected, to the main dimension of the SCP Foundation. If he did continuously break down the wall enough to break through, he’d likely end up in a “transition dimension”, a sort of tunnel or corridor that connected all the dimensions. I’d theorize that SCP-106 can circumvent usage of the transition dimension by use of his own portals, but if the D-Class got into it, he may be able to find the entrance into his proper dimension. The only issue is where he would end up, though it is likely he would end up exactly where his matter disappeared. This is, assuming, my theory (that has absolutely no evidence) is even somewhat true.

Interesting out of all the expedition in the old man's pocket dimensions we knew he chould control it but not have the capability to control the time around it anyone in his pocket dimensions can be killed but revive we never seen this ability in his pocket dimension so unbelievable powerful enough to control time around itself the pocket dimensions is probably part of the old man which is why he has ful control over it

This is the same premise of Doctor Who's Heaven Sent episode which was absolutely brilliant. I hope this story was inspired by that, it'd be a cool reference.

This shares many similarities with the Doctor Who story Heaven Sent. Both are about a guy being tortured by a decaying geriatric in a time loop while trying to punch through an indestructible wall.

Here’s a few reasons why I hate the scp foundation: 1. They try to hurt they’re harmless SCP’s quite often 2. They knew javi was innocent and still kept him in the foundation instead of taking the guilty person instead 3. The foundation is just mean in general, 682 hates humanity not because of them in general. Hating them in general is only 10% of the reason. The reason he hates them so much is because every goddamn day he’s being but against multiple dangerous and hurtful entities and his house is literally made of acid. That part is 90% of the hate

The more I learn about individual D Class, the less I find the actions of the foundation to be excusable by arguments about “greater good”. They have child D-Class. They have refugees. They have people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. And now we have people who they know have been unjustly convicted; not only do they do nothing to mitigate the situation, they use it against them to manipulate an innocent man who just desperately wanted to save his daughter. I’m about to join the Serpent’s Hand or some shit.
