SCP-001 is both a and Euclid and Keter Class anomaly also known as The Gate Guardian.
SCP 001 is a humanoid entity, approximately seven hundred cubits or roughly 1,000 feet in height, located near the intersection of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. SCP001 stands in front of the entrance of what many believe to be the Garden of Eden, the location described in the bible as a perfect paradise, where Adam and Eve were allowed to live until they ate the fruit of a forbidden tree.

@@mrcheese5383 There are multiple SCPs which are designated as 001 instead of getting their own SCP number because they're meant to act as decoys to hide the true SCP-001, to try to confuse anyone wanting to find out which one the real 001 is. Canonically the REAL SCP-001 is actually designated as SCP-184 to hide it's true identity, and no one but the highest level command officials in the foundation knows about this. At the moment, "SCP-184", or better known as the real SCP-001 is suspected to have created the entire universe, but as the universe expanded on and on SCP-001 started struggling to keep up with its own expansion of the universe and began to create corrupted objects that got worse the longer the universe grew, explaining how every SCP came to be

It's also worth mentioning that 001 seemingly gave 682 the command "die." 682 responds with: "Die? You command me to die? Oh, wouldn't we all like that, but this is my curse for suggesting the fruit." Which suggests that 682 was the serpent from the book of genesis

343 also commented that 682 was as not one of his creations and showed that’s he a being well known by him. So here’s the theory i saw some people make: 682 was the Scarlet King’s first child, sent to the garden of eden to infiltrate God’s creations. 682 convinced Adam and Eve to eat the apples and as a punishiment he was forced to live forever by 343(God), this combined with his powers caused him to mutate into the monster we see today

Getting itself killed by the scarlet king and letting the floodgates of hyperversal entities would be an easy threat for the high elder gods to deal with but would provide a minor inconvenience. When 682 mentioned that the Gate Guardian wasn't Uriel but a 'pretender', I would argue that it was a different angel or an "avatar" of sorts that was taking the stead of the real Uriel. If this is the case, Uriel may just be extremely stronger than this 'pretender' just imagine the sheer power of other higher ranked heavenly beings.

Personally, I think the Gate Guardian is one of the “Cherubim”, which are guardian angels/demons described in the Bible who protect the path to the tree of life. It also wields the “fiery ever turning sword”, which matches the Gate Guardian pretty well.

The Guardian was right to smite the researchers for terminating the D-class who was obedient to it, and through it, the Will of God, if that is what is truly going on with this SCP. In the Old Testament, the price for disobedience was usually very heavy, up to and including death. The New Testament....changed that a bit.

I think it's very risky to bring the orange slime because if he kills it then they're screwed in the future when the Scarlet King pulls up because when that orange slime grows up it is meant to fight the Scarlet King the orange slimes effects probably wouldn't effective the gate guardian and I'm not 100% on who the girl is but I think you're referring to the one that gives you murderous intent around her and the person dies of a heart attack if you attack her I'm sure he would just kill her because he most likely doesn't have a heart and I'm sure he wouldn't let her pass and would still try to make her leave if she doesn't she dies even if she made him docile like 682

I would love to put a test on the gate guardian's view of humans, first, put a d-class to go to the gate guardian, until he hears the gate guardian tells him to leave, once he does, he is to not move forward or back, he is to stay in place, to see how the gate guardian reacts, if he does still gets vaporized for not leaving, send another d class in to do the same, but this time, shoot their leg without them dying, to see how the gate guardian reacts to a person who can't physically leave

literally no different than killing a d-class for leaving when told by a godlike being to leave it would vaporize the person who shot the d-class or even the researcher for giving the order and the d-class would still probably get vaporized because, well, the guardian still has to do it's job either that or somehow heal their wounds and give them a chance to leave

So this proposal is not only a possibly prophetic origin for this foundation, but also serves as a warning to never get too close to the guardian's truths. What is especially disturbing is how others react to it. The reactions seem to imply that whatever this guardian truly is, it is not only formidable, it is also unstoppable. Furthermore, if Cain and even Able are having such negative reactions to being in it's presence, then it isn't hard to imagine this particular angel is angry with them, possibly desecrating the Garden of Eden However, 682's remark on this fiery titan is a pretender does make you wonder about it. But, Those who embody hatred have no shame toward lying about their experiences. But this, combined with a message from the future, seems to imply that the gate guardian is causing the apocalypse, or had some sort of stake in it. Whether or not it is true is worrying.

What if the scp "When day breaks" is linked to the scarlet king? Think about it, the concept of being absorbed by a mass of pain and suffering, wanting more people to join them in their beautiful "sunny day outside". Seeing that as time goes on, he becomes more and more powerful, he just probably decided to fuck with humanity one last time, because they were not going to change, he decided to end them all with light, one of the things keeping them alive.

I'm a little curious how it is that there's a 100's of feet tall, gigantic, flaming-sword-wielding, armored, winged angel guarding and even more massive, angelic interdimensional portal just chilling in a forest somewhere completely un-hidden that only effects the memories of those who stray within a KM, but it can definitely be seen from literally anywhere within 10 or more miles, and just nobody cares

7:10 I’d guess it was to prepare for The Devourer Of Worlds, when he is inevitably released from his chains onto Earth. They also made a video on this where the gate guardian literally teams up with the foundation and together they manage to nearly kill it but the gate guardian sadly passes away. I mean then again heaven is allegedly like a continents away so he’s more like moving away, shifting posts, retiring ya know? Anyways then scp-343 comes out of nowhere summoning 6 more identical gate guardian light Angel people who allegedly finish off The Devourer Of Worlds off camera. Gate guardian also fought The Scarlet King once.
