Yeah that was annoying to me when I was making the theory, but remember he just took notes on all of those reanimations, like they were failed experiments. I think he failed every reanimation until the ape. That’s why he kept requesting more animals, so he could keep trying to succeed.

As far as I can tell rage seems to be the pestilence, I think he might be killing people in a way that's without any form of Gore and fairly quick, literally a single touch, in order to have them perfectly at his mercy to operate upon without any concern for their well being or time constraints and then somehow revives them from the dead as the equivalent of a very f***** u* surgery. the zombie is supposed to be cured of aggression and he was doing extensive biological research in trying to cure rage. the zombies being violent is the by product of research he thinks is worth it. the orangutan was success than the chemical that stopped his death touch created a new bio defense for the pestilence

If you haven't read the original file you totally should!! There are several addendums and more details on how he's contained and how he interacts with the staff. This is one of the best versions of it I've seen but honestly the original entry is SO GOOD. It's one of the more detailed SCP and one of my favorite.
