SCP-2662 is a Keter class anomaly also known as Cthulhu. SCP 2662 is a cognitohazardous entity whose anomalous effect is the spontaneous generation of religious followings that focus on attempting to break into the SCP2662 containment unit in order to perform various rituals.

Just getting into the SCP thing, super interesting and a great spin on the mythos. In the SCP universe, and if we apply Lovecraft’s ‘rules’, holding Cthulhu in the facility would have been a strategic mistake. Ever since R’Lyeh sunk, he wasn’t able to communicate with people via their dreams anymore. Bringing him above the water made him far more dangerous - whether he does it consciously or not.
