Oh shit, started with the first episode of the Series, and jumped right to the last episode...not sure if you know that Sedition is a series with its own storyline Boss

Also i would REALLY reccomend knowing what the SCPs are before watching Sedition, as its a series on its own and it doesnt really give basic info on the scps as its telling its own story.

343 violated free will, but claims he doesn't violate free will. A self-contradiction.

If you're looking for reading material on SCPs outside the website itself, I would recommend a manga called Oversimplified SCP. It obviously doesn't go into as much detail as most other SCP series (just look at the name) but it's a good primer for some of the more famous SCPs, as well as some interesting ones like SCP-1609 (a teleporting chair that serves as an example of why SCP destruction shouldn't be approached carelessly or without very good reasons, looking at you GOC). If you have any concerns about the art style, it's more stickman-like and cartoony than most manga or anime. It helps lessen some of the visual horror (usually) to convey at least the general idea of whatever SCP is discussed.

Ah crap now ill have to go look it up but there is one scp that the Exploring Series did that flat out says (in its own canon of course) that 343 is actually Mithusula using the god identity for shits and giggles.

You don't necessarily need to input the biblical descriptions of angels into an A.I. image generator when artists have already been making art of said descriptions for centuries.

I've been wondering when you'd get a video about 343. Pretty sure my first time reading about him was in a 682 termination attempt.

The interesting thing with SCP is that it's genuinely impossible to tell who is the one true Supreme Being. Reality warpers and outer gods aside, the closest thing to the Absolute would be the authors, but with pataphysics in mind even that might not be true. Actually with pataphysics you just get an infinite succession of higher beings without end.

My personal thought is that 343 is a top tier reality bender that went insane and believes he is actually God. His reality changes to reflect that due to his powers. He's not actually the creator of the universe, he's simply one of the most powerful reality benders, who's mind broke.

After having viewed the SCP - 294 reaction. I'd still love to hear your thoughts on SCP - 261. I think you'll find it equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

Okay so 343 might be God, or he's just a god-tier level of reality bender, but also Cain and Abel exist (073 and 076 respectively, I forget which is which though), as does the Garden of Eden and its protector, the archangel Uriel (SCP 001), at least in the "prime canon" anyway

I can understand your attitude towards 343...After all, even if he *isn't* God, he's close enough that your total obliteration & non-existence isn't going to be any different than that which the real God could do. Although, that particular attitude is one I've had since my teenage years (40+ years ago), back when I read an illustrated sci-fi story in a now-obscure magazine known as "1999." Among other stories, it included was a series of short stories about an itinerate psych therapist who is a legend in his own right, seeing over exceptional cases scattered throughout the galaxy. One particular patient that he was referred to by a not-as-famous collegue was known amongst the psych staff as "Noah" (which confused him as to why God would call him that since his name was Clarence), a guy who had apparently heard the Words of God & was sent throughout the cosmos to collect critters that God said were among His favorites. He was apparently instructed by God bring these specifically selected creatures to a sanctuary world that would survive the next bout of God's Wrath over the universe as a whole. Well, that didn't go well, as he was found alive in a huge wrecked spaceship full of the putrid remains of the most disgustingly grotesque creatures known throughout the galaxy, insisting on the truth of his story. The most memorable quote I have from him came when the therapist asked why he was so quick to obey this voice & he replied, "Listen Doc, you just don't f__k with a guy whose mere *voice* registers 9.8 on the Richter Scale." Yeah, it's just like that...

I've always found this sort of thing interesting because I'm always hearing people think they know what God is or isn't like while expecting him to fully understand us, and I think that's sort of the mistake Watch made. like you said, if you have never known hunger, fear, thirst, etc then you're not going to ever fully grasp the absolute hell the flaws you added to your creations can cause and you won't be able to fully understand any of it. you might know of the definitions and concepts but you won't *know* them. now as for Watch claiming he could do better.... eh.... I have a massive issue with a claim like that because humans have so, so many problems with just leading towns or nations because of the sheer amount of responsibilities, so taking potentially sole rulership of an entire omniverse must be a hell of its own. it might seem easy with all of that power, but you're still restrained almost as much as you were as a mortal because even then you can't just change and shift things on a whim without expecting anything horrible to happen from what I assume would be wanton change from Watch. you still wouldn't be able to do whatever you want without any consequences unless you literally enslaved every single thing that lives to your will with no chance of freedom. Yeah I would not last a day as God before begging him to come back. and regardless if something like God takes action or not, consequences will happen and if God were to openly help mankind.... I hate to admit it but that could have some seriously dire negative consequences. finally, Watch having a talk about "lesser" stuff. I won't lie, I'd take pride in being called lesser by God because I know I can experience existence in a way they never can until they make themselves mortal.

I do apologise for how long these SCP Seditions take, but I'm delighted you enjoy these series. I'm currently working on Tape 02 of this same SCP. My team does the voice work and scripting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The main character is Watch. The episode series starts with 682. and throughout each episode, you learn more about Watch's backstory. Watch is usually calm and collective in the other episodes. In this episode, he is a lot more aggressive because of the medication he is taking, as well as the abuse he withstained at C2 which was shown at the end of SCP 682 & 079. So he's more of a loose cannon during the 343 Tape 01 and Tape 02.
