SCP: UNREMARKABLE - Short Film 

1504's author here. This was absolutely incredible and captures perfectly what I had in mind when writing that article originally. I cannot overstate how uncanny it is to see something I wrote in such a fantastic short, but I loved every moment of it. Thank you so much for making this!

Gotta love the ending where the researcher writes down something --- as he may be partly aware subconsciously, or even fully aware but realizing stuff after out of sight...

It's actually both great and very sad to know that, despite lashing out in the moment in this scene, he also shows remorse for doing so. It shows that deep down he's a good person despite everything. It was especially heartbreaking to see that little glimmer of hope on his face when the researcher said "of course." I wonder if he's ever thought of using his powers for good, like stopping crimes where being remarkable could get others killed (though the invulnerability would obviously help too). Or maybe that's what he's been doing?

Last message recorded by this same researcher during a containment breach unintentionally caused by SCP-1504: "If anyone ever finds this, tell my wife that I love her and that I’m sorry for spending so much time in my job. Tell her that I said goodbye and that I am thinking of her as I die. "

5 Stars. I always wanted this scp to be visualized or put in a actual film due to its unique nature, but you've actually gone and done it.

Things like this prove an SCP foundation live action series would be amazing perhaps in a documentary like format with one episode devoted to each SCP What I'm trying to say is that this was awesome you've done a great job!

Oh yes. The guy who is in two seperate realities at the same time and can punch you in the nose without you even noticing.

Poor guy. Some SCPs get godly abilities like him, but at least people remember and acknowledge them. All he wants is to be seen as himself.

I feel so sorry for scp 1504 reading and listening to it’s file is one thing but see it played out with a person is another thing mad props to you guys

This was beautiful. Every second of it told it’s own story. I also like how 1054’s body language told more about him that his words! He would occasionally perk up when spoken to, still hopeful he would be noticed. The way his shoulder’s slumped and his head hung low showed us he was tired and just wished his personal hell could end. But what was most heartbreaking was his posture at the end when he said “..because they will actually listen”. His shoulders were still slumped but his head was raised. His face showed us his pain, and his eyes no longer had the angry fire they had before. They showed us desperation, anger, sadness, and exhaustion. Thank you for this. And the actors were amazing.

That was heartwrenching, I feel bad for the poor guy. The acting and writing was top notch too! I like the part where Joe reacts to the interviewer saying "of course", it was probably the closest to being acknowledged he ever had. And the way he felt guilt about punching him. And that little speech at the end. Good job guys!

Ah yes this was a pretty great film, loved the various camera shots used in this film as well as great homage to the SCP community. Well done and keep up the good work!

I remember reading on this and thought "Wow, this must be one of the harder SCPs to capture in a movie format" and wow, you did it superbly!

Wow the actor for joe did such a good job he sat there and you could tell he was sad, angry, and wanting to die.

This has more depth and passion than anything Hollywood has produced in years

Nevan Dove, I am incredibly proud of you for this amazing short film. To compose, write and direct all at the same time is an amazing feat, something I definitely would never be able to do. Please continue such works, I enjoy them a lot. You blew out every expectation out of the water. I'll wait to see that sub count grow!

This was really amazing. The fact that SCP 1504 was the first SCP I ever read really made this hit home for me.

Damn that got deep at the end it actually made me tear up a bit

This was amazing! Most SCPs are seen as creepy monsters or things we don't understand, but in a way, it shows the true sadness of being completely invisible. Well done!

I'm sorry, but I have to compliment you guys again. ***SPOILER BELOW "READ MORE"*** That moment at 7:31, when the doctor says "of course" and joe looks at him, with a moment of hopeless hope. He knows, he absolutely KNOWS that the doctor didn't recognize him, but he still hopes that maybe, maybe this one time... oh man, I know exactly what that feels like. You guys are AMAZING.

This is one of the most amazing and heartbreaking reimagining of an SCP article that I've ever seen. I'm not gonna lie, I nearly cried while watch this shorth film. For all who worked on making this short film, you did a fantastic job.

I greatly sympathize with "Joe" I have no one irl right all, all my friends always leave me eventually. I feel like no one cares and/or wants anything to do with me. I often feel invisible. At school, there have been times where I went all day without talking because no one bothers to talk to me and I have really bad social anxiety so speaking up is super hard for me. I know it's not to as great of an extent, but I understand Joe and would totally be friends with him if it was possible. Being constantly alone is awful, the loneliness eats away at you, seeing others hanging out with each other and being happy and such makes you feel bad because you just can't be like that. I don't know, I just wish things were different, I wish people irl were more understanding and less judgemental, it hurts being so alone. I really like this SCP, especially from this short film because I feel like I can relate to him and it's comforting in a way. This probably sounds really cringy to some and I'm sorry for that :/

Absolutely incredible! I say that about almost every SCP fan creation, but that's just because the people who do make these sorts of SCP films and such do so with high-effort and amazing skill.

Overall this shortfilm was aboslutely amazing. The only negative thing I can honestly say about it is that the punch didn't seem real. Besides that this work is absolute perfection of SCP 1504, and I gotta say i'm excited to see any work you publish in the future.

To be honest.. i saw the animation first, where the SCP says "hey doc? Watch" and then punched him in the face, in which the doctor react/replied "oh i dont usually have nose bleeds" and the whole site fell and all SCP breached cos the guy also has some kind of power that shorts out electricity... 'That was facinating' i thought when i saw it.. and then THIS!?!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Mmmn... Brilliant. It's like watching the same movie twice, and the movie just keep getting better and better!

There’s a part of me that wishes you could have shown how joe breaks all the sites containment cells for other scps but I also realize that doing that would take the heart and the “message “ from this and I’m glad that it’s left at this. I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for your work. And if you keep up with telling scp stories soon enough you should have a sizable chunk of the community following you. Once again outstanding work to everyone involved.

1504 is by far one of my most favourite scp writes. It’s amazing to see how well it can be put in a film format.

I remember reading about this SCP, I can't believe someone actually made this. The first few minutes of this short and I already knew what it was about.

This is awesome! I LOVE that someone made an SCP short that wasn't based on one of the "monsters" or more outlandish SCP's... so many great ones have to do with just these utterly tragic stories like Joe, or Valerie, the Human Mannequin. The stories just as powerful, if not more so, because we can all relate to human condition, and this state of loneliness and invisibility at times. It's especially gut-wrenching when you're surrounded by people, yet STILL feel alone. Good job.

This may be a longshot but Doctor Who's T. A. R. D. I. S. has something called a Perception Shield. This device allows people to walk past the time machine or to even look right at it and... (invisibility is the wrong word), they simply don't perceive it. This guy might be a human Perception Shield.

I remember this one, this short film is excellent and captures one of the things I've always wondered about some of the more human or sentient SCP's - are they content with being secured or more specifically their own anomalous properties? Did they come to the foundation seeking professional help?
