Unearth Is genuinely terrifying good lord I’m a total horror junkie, not much phases me anymore but scp 3515 gave me the chills man It hits so much harder if you imagine yourself in that situation… imagine waking up in your old childhood bedroom only to discover you are literally buried alive

As soon as I heard "Scan of a ticket or other redeemable document" I INSTANTLY knew it was "Ticket To Ride" The first SCP to ever cause me to lose sleep. Whoever thought to include it in this collection made a great choice.

In theory that decision could have been made by personnel in the A&R, PR, HR or Pufnstuf departments, but actually such a high-level sign-off always comes from at least the Senior VP (aka the old guy from Valet Parking). In this particular case, however, the office scuttlebutt has it that the order to process that doc for Vaultcast inclusion came down from NEO-CEO Nocturne itself....

I hate the fact that people are being so disrespectful this year. SCP Vault is a wonderful treat I look forward to every year. While I’m a little sad there are less stories this year, as my best friend Blaze pointed out, it’s Quality over Quantity. Which is something I GREATLY appreciate.

well there are phobia's linked with the story's like Taphophobia, Claustrophobia & Cleithrophobia and they could cause anxiety when listening or more, I'm not even remotely experienced in phobia's or that knowledgeable of them but if alax cansas includes a phobia warning in an episode for Emetophobia and it's purely auditory then i think this could trigger a negative reaction.

The type writer is such a good scp It provides context for the story in a way that allows it to deviate from standard foundation format while simultaneously remaining entirely vanilla in its feel A lot of scp tales miss this mark and it creates a form of dissonance between the document and the tale that breaks emersion. This scp justifies its informal storytelling in the best way possible. Allowing for the author to write short scp tales from the perspective of an outsider that feel authentic to the standard scp format.

I am starting to write short psychological stories, and an editor friend of mine suggested SCP. I have heard some spooky stories from the dark, and now I am ready to embrace it once again with you, our 4-Eyed, Deep-Voiced Cat Demon, Nick Nocturne. A pleasant and unexpected sight to behold at 9 PM on a dark and cloudless Wednesday Night.

I'm putting two characters into the SCP database, and plenty of case files because the first "instance" is technically qualified as Apollyon, and can pull a YK-Class Scenario with a thought. She just doesn't care enough to actually pull on her abilities past "I just sat down and the remote is over there" levels. Well, unless you give her a reason to, and even then, you'd have to try to kill someone she cares about for her to pull out a few stops. She's like the mafia. Don't poke that bear, and it won't poke you. 😂 I look forward to seeing what's up your sleeve!

it's finally here again, SCP Vault, no dilly's this time sadly but man do these stories make up for it, the Burley estate is some of the most existential horror I've ever experienced. I hope to one day create something only half the level of atmosphere of that story, what an incredible piece of art. Thanks for making these darker times, both environmental as in my own mind, bearable Nick, it's been a rough couple of weeks for me and this series is one of the few things that actually keep me going in these uncertain and scary times. Thanks once again, you really changed my life.

Great job on the video, Nick. You did a wonderful job voice acting wise, and storytelling wise. When you were reading and even somewhat after, I couldn't/can't help but think of the Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark tv series (especially the second one). There were a couple of episodes in particular: The Doll Maker (that had to do with a doll house that was in someone's home. As it turns out, there was a door in the attic, which was right near the doll house and looked like the dollhouse door. If you went through that door, you'd end up in the dollhouse. If you stayed too long, you'd turn into a doll.) and The Tale of the Dream Machine (where there was a typewriter that whatever you typed on it, when read out loud, would actually happen.)

the pure dread of Unearth, dude. i was afraid that it would be him. you're either scared that this SCP has claimed this many victims or that this poor man is living in a loop. and the fact that the test subject knew the observer by name instead of a number was heart wrenching, it reminded us that he was a human being living through this.

Entering REM sleep in around/under 3 mins is called Narcolepsy. I have it and on my MSLT test I hit REM sleep in around 4 1/2 mins 5 consecutive times. Just a fun fact if anyone is interested.
