This extension is from when Pengtastic drew a new SCR map, and connected Llyn to Stepford Victoria. The station is called "What The Hell Is This Update"
They might just make parts of the network unelectricfied. Make it like BR where you need an electric to go on an electric branch. I think the Willow field line will become diesel only
Ye actually, we may see some more sneak peeks of this, like if we see a new train at Leighton west without overhead wiring we can confirm this, it would require the addition of loads of new sounds for bi-mode trains too
@@ignacyk3203 what would be the point of the pantograph button. and they could changed plans as right now, there would be no point realistically of an operator driving diesels if their network is fully electrified. There's no wires so obviously means something
So other people might have said this, but theres a line of trees going out from the willowfield extention, and theres a random abandoned station on the end of it with grassy platforms. I think that might be this station, since it has 2 platforms just like in the sneak peak, its a connect only station (it cant be anything else) and it goes in a curve too just like in the sneak peak. If we look in the background of the sneak peak, we can see bushes, and that perfectly fits the vibe of this abandoned station we have now, since its in the middle of nowhere. I think it might be this station. Oh, and we dont see any overheadline equipment above the line of trees that go out from the willowfield extention, so thats an answer for that. I think that abandoned station would be perfect for this, maybe connecting the willowfield line, with the whitefield line. Thats my take on this.
By looking at the image at first I thought this would be Beaulieu park. But noticing the un-electrified section of the track, I am stuck out of my mind where this station could be.. The abandoned section of railway splitting off from the Willowfield mainline That’s it tbh I have no other ideas
just to be clear: adding more stations in existing areas doesn't increase lag. it's going further way from berrily that make lag. therefore, it could he the line of trees at willowfield
I would personally like to see Waterline also gain Class 150 and a Class 153 (with 155 also being included in the 153 package). It would also be nice to see a Class 142 on Connect considering how the 142s were the backbone of the regional network of the north for many decades.
To my guess, I think this is an extension. Remember the vote? The vote that was waterline or connect extension? Everyone picked Waterline, and it has been released in v1.10. This could be a connect extension since the connect extension lost against waterline. You might think: Isn’t the connect extension Leighton West? Well, it has been released way before the waterline extension, so there’s no way that was Leighton West. That’s my theory.
The devs thought to do Connect extension (Leighton West) instead of Waterline. But then they decided to make one final extension that won and should be made instead of Connect one (the WL extension) and since then they said no more extensions but they might lie or change their mind so we will see.
My theory is as it could be a Branchline splitting off At Millcastle and it would be diesel. Only there will be two or three stations on it with the terminus being a Parkway station. It could split off at Edgemeade and have about four stations and it would terminate at Esterfeild which would be upgraded or there would be a new station in esterfield
This station has no electricial wires. I wonder if they’ve just forgotten them again or if they’re actually making some kind of branch line where only diesel-powered connect trains can run? Maybe it’s an extension and upgrade of the Leighton West branch.
If it is a new station then I recon they might finally be adding a station and a line that runs between Whitefield and Willofield as that would be rural and could most likely have no overhead wires.
Its unelectrified and has Connect and Waterline colours on the platform signs so it's a Connect and WaterLine extension. Its diesel-only i assume. I also assume for this to be using Ex-Tramlink or Ex-Metro tracks. And also, it could also be the Whitefield to Willowfield line of trees and it points fun to that as there are trees located near the station. It is 100% an extension. Oh and also, this means the 755 will be added on Connect and will lower its panto at a certain location. This also will mean a Class 231 coming. The 756 will be on Waterline and it can lower its panto at the unelectrified parts. Also what if its an extension from the Morganstown flyover? it could either be diesel or third rail. Now we can assume for certain more FLIRTs will come in-game. Also a Class 172 (gangway) could be added to connect and the non gangway ones on Waterline. This could be a chance for more DMUs like the Class 196 and 197. Now, we can also ask the question of this being part of the Metro Loop. There is a slight chance because most of the Metro stations like Old Harrow, St Helen's South and University have never been seen and are surrounded by water body maybe. Maybe even forget the idea of it being part of the loop, it could even be Ex-High speed or ex TramLink
I sure Class 150s and 153s can easily run on Waterline since all Waterline services tend to stop at every station. I’m from Sheffield so I get to ride on Northern Class 150s all the time. I even remember riding on Class 153s on the Sheffield-Leeds via Moorthorpe line coupled to a Pacer for extra capacity.
But I think the station would be called Wyvern + westwyvern took a name of a school in the uk and slapped west on it OR A EXPANSION FROM LYNN-BY-THE-SEA But hey that’s just a theory A SCR THEORY
I think the station should be called "Seven Mills" (yeah i grabbed it from a squadfam video from 4 yrs ago don't @ me it is a cool name) Expansion is from LBTS is not comming becouse the last sneek peak does show only terminating plats and the layout is the same. And that school thing is probably a coincidence. But if you have those thoughts you can!
If they built past llyn, they would have to change the entire station as it’s based on King’s Cross which only has terminus platforms (unless they add an underground station like Thames link has*
Honestly, I have been wanting the class 156 for SCR for a while and now that it’s coming I am probably going to be grinding for the next 200000 days until 2.0 comes out and I can buy it (even if it costs more than the 345) and I think that if there is a diesel only extension to SCR and the 156 is coming, we might as well start calling it BR number 2.
So, wild theory, but when I was at SHB earlier today, I saw a few track parts leading off to nowhere. This maaaay be a shb extension but most likely not because shb is chock full of stuff also it could be anything
I think this is a new station. There are no overhead wires at this station and the only area in the game that has no overhead wires is the bridge that connects Morganstown Docks to Morganstown.
This is could be a new station for upper staploe or it's a new route between whitefield and willowfield with a new station 🤔🤔 or it could an small extension off the Llynn by the sea route e.g between Lynn and Westwyvern
I think this is either Woodhead Lane or Houghton Rake, both stations are a bit outdated and could do with upgrading Looking forward to the 156 coming out though!
I Belive this is the line of trees extension at willowfield AND NOBODY IS TAKING ABOUT IT! Its seriously the only possible place an extension could be if its even an extension, However, This could also be faymere as knowing SCR's realism (AHEM MORGANSTOWN SHUTTLE BRIDGE WITH EXPRESS TRAINS) this could be faymere also. EDIT: Clearly this Sneak Peek is also still in the works as the Stepford Connect on the 156 has a little glitch affect so the overhead wires could just have not been added yet.
This is very reasonably Westercoast. The devs probably just forgot to add the overhead wiring for this shot. also we're running out of numbers for connect, we're already up to 48 and Airlink starts at 51
It can’t be starryloch and here’s why. The express splitting thing has already been used at upper staploe and the Lynn line would be TERRIBLE if it were to be unnelectrified as the 444 and 377 are one of the main trains that need to go there.
