Always fun looking through the analyzer at the end and seeing a good hook go unused the whole game.

You said it doesn't really matter where you play EARPHONE but it definitely does, playing it above the E in FUZE sets up two 50+ point X spots, whereas where you placed it does not

Interesting position, each placement offers different hotspots, the upper placement actually sims 4 points better than the lower

Good game. I'm sure it's close but I like poh instead of earphone. 23 less points but opponent likely to make more than that back with earphone when they'd likely struggle to do anything good with poh. And a good leave.

Was thinking the same thing -- David's usually squeamish about putting vowels next to bonus tiles, so I'm surprised he didn't consider it. In fact, I think I've seen him sacrifice bingos to avoid scenarios like that.

I simmed this position and POH is 9 points worse than EARPHONE, with PAH about 1 point better than POH

There is such a bird as an Orphean Warbler - Orphean relating to Orpheus, unfortunately not allowable in Scrabble
