The way that Kingston feels more like a powerful spirit of the city than a cleric of some god is so brilliantly conveyed by Lou and Brennan. That Nat 20 description is so just... you *get* why Kingston is so together, so confident, so secure. His city is *there* for him, and he never has to be alone.

Ive noticed trends amongst the players, emily always wants to drink and smoke, lou always has swag, zack is always the nice guy, siobhan is always wealthy, ally always likes girls, and brian is always tiny lol

I really love the way Brennan DMs. He's really animated and his voices and sound effects are amazing. On top of that, he always says things like "Hell yeah." or "Rad" when the players do things and it makes everything the players do feel more epic. You really get the sense that he really loves and is super passionate about D&D.

So let me get this straight, Sophia breaks every single long jump world record (even in men’s, all by people taller than her) in the NYC sewers after doing several back hand springs up this weird terrain (not flat like every long jumper gets) while drunk and apologizes for not being able to reach a platform, then swims like a pro through viscous gross sewer water and climbs up easily onto this other weird platform. Homie why are you upset with yourself Sophia you’re dope as hell

I love that Brennan always calls Murphy’s characters “baby” lol. seriously my favorite part of this is them looking at each other and Brennan going “that’s you baby”. adorable.

The other has the power to cast some heavy damage because he can channel the nightmares and remembered fears of the city. The narrative parallels are so damn cool!!!!

A rat king is actually the name of a naturally occurring phenomenon where a collection of rats have their tails intertwined and bound together in some way This can be a result of an entangling material like hair, a sticky substance such as sap or gum, or the tails being tied together

Brennan is exactly the kind of Dungeon Master that I would want. Great storyteller that pulls you into the world, brilliant character actor for NPC interactions, unpredictable moment maker that gives opportunity's to create spectacles, and actually takes character class as more than just a skillset and tries to make it unique and special to the world it's in.

Brennen baffles me in a way that most people don’t. He speaks as a man that lived many lifetimes of experience in pain, joy and fulfillment. His characters are full bodied and suck you in. This can’t be just pure “acting” he must have journeyed enough to empathize with the very roles he plays. Thank you for your energy and also to the players.
