The weirdest thing about dnd is that your mom, your dad, your maid, your sister, your boyfriend, your pet and your mortal enemy are just all the same person...
Kristen’s roll on the medicine check made me so dang happy. AAAAAA What was the last time Ally derailed Brennan’s plans? Was it the Nat 20 at the prom and suddenly there’s a new god? 😂
Am I the only one who can tell a difference between seasons 1 and 2 but doesn't understand what the creators have changed? Like, was season 1 constantly having pauses where they said 'we need to create figurines for the battle happening plus what the character said so pause while we make it for the next hour?" This episode had a battle but there were no figurines/tiles to measure distance for battle movements
Its crazy to me how quickly it is apparent that Fig's reactions are what has kept Fabians actions toward Galier in check (as he commented himself in the previous episode) as at 27:10 when he talks demeaning to himself she reacts sadly as a reminder to him to treat Galier is a person worth not just being a dick to lmao
Ally mentioned here that they wanted to cast spirit guardians on their book and throw it in his stomach to get continuous damage. I think I thought of a way for it to be more busted. If Kristen were to ride the hangman, fig and adaine did this earlier, got the hangman to take a disengage action to drive past kalvaxus without taking an attack of opportunity. I don’t remember exactly what the hangman’s movement is but Kristen could do this and drive past kalvaxus and either get out of melee range or try and pass him twice (while taking an attack of opportunity), since when a creature enters the spirit guardians 15 ft reach they have to make the wisdom save.
The way Brennan describe everything so vividly and enthusiastically makes it so much more fun. I can clearly see a picture in my mind of what's happening and I love every minute of it 🥹
43:03 If Wizard/Barbarian was a viable multiclass, Adaine/Siobhan would be UTTERLY INVINCIBLE. It does not matter whether it's Adaine or Siobhan, they're both wizards who should be allowed to rage.
zelda is toxic as fuck lol "My adventurer boyfriend, whose job is usually life or death, didn't say bye to me when he left to go do his mission." cry about it
Love that they were told about dragon madness and even made jokes about dragon madness and now suddenly are freaking out about dragon madness 😂😂😂 if it does turn out to be important I’m gonna laugh so hard
1:07:38 That sounds like a female elf name. Fathrethrion would be a better one. Also I don't know if Brennan is incorporating Silmarillion lore on purpose, but Fabian's Grandpa is clearly an Elrond parody, and he was raised by the two remaining sons of Fëanor, whose dialect of Quenya (high elvish) was canonically EXTREMELY lisped. His roast of high elves is pretty funny, but I'd personally have leaned a bit more into Elrond being the only high elf who's down to earth. And also, you know, the fact that he and his brother were kidnapped as children and raised by the aforementioned sons of Fëanor, who at that point in the First Age were basically murder hobos.
Garthy is great but I gotta come here and show Ragh some love. I am personally elated he’s one of their hirelings. I just love me a big sensitive beefcake jock bro orc dude. He’s ticking all my boxes.
Welp, I ship fig and ayda just a bittle bit now heh. Something about that level of pure acceptance, it's exactly what I'd want in a partner 🤍 but either way, their connection is cute
