Glad to see it’s not just my bike that never wants to start with the first turnover - I’ve just gotten accustomed to turning it over twice to start it. Hopefully they will resolve it with a map update someday!
Fab video, you have inspired me, love the look of the Scrambler XC, (XE too tall for me), but not a fan of the high exhaust as want to travel and take bags! Was looking at Bonneville T120 but this looks a better option.👍
That exhaust sounds really nice, though I do wonder about the clearance change with that pipe closer to the ground. I'll have to keep thinking if I want to keep my Scrambler look or drop it down. Awesome job!
I'm curious what the weight savings was? Man it completely changed the look, and sounds sweet. Also have you added the booster plug or a fuel tuner, it will eliminate that hard starting issue. Good stuff. Cheers.

New subscriber. New rider. I'm 6'6" myself. I'd love to get my hands on the XE model. Dream bike for sure. Is there a way you can do a comparison of seat height between the two? Or perhaps show/talk more in-depth about the ergonomics for tall person on the XC? Perhaps even what makes a bike work for talk folx.
Nice I’m 6’4” and so is my son and we’ve been looking at the xc thanks for the help. Have you notice and drop in performance with the new pipes also I assume moving it get the cat away from your legs I hear the stock exhaust can get really hot is that true? Thanks brother.
Great vid, thanks for sharing. As to the actual swap, how would you rate its degree of difficulty, and how is that rating tempered by your own mechanical experience/expertise? It LOOKS fairly straightforward, but lots of things do on the surface. Any major challenges and/or things your didn't anticipate? Anything not covered in the instructions from Zard?

Thank you, I hope to produce some more videos of cars, bikes, and real estate once I free up some time again. I decided to get the XC because of its better handling in road. The XE has a high inseam, but it’s roughly the same ergonomics on the bike. The fit on the bike was just fine. I also had an Indian Chieftain at the time and wasn’t looking to spend on the XC (but that didn’t influence the decision much after I sat on the XC).
I don’t know what skid plates would work with the scrambler, but I can answer that you do not lose any ground clearance. The exhaust follows the low frame line. If anything, maybe 1/4 of an inch.
Jakub St o j I’ll choose my comfort and style over conformity any day. I do respect your opinion, it’s the more purest approach to the bike. The low mount shows the bike better in my opinion, sounds better, and solves the heat issues.
