Originally this should have been an off-roading trip over to Wiltshire to ride the lanes in that area with Big_Pezza, Hippo-Drones & co.
Unfortunately my CRF was still broken at this time, so rather than cancel the trip, I decided to take my Scrambler instead and do my own thing whilst the others hit the trails.

Awesome flashback, it was a cracking ride down there and so amazing seeing the northern lights. Damn, you missed a trick for part 2 not having your Star Wars helmet! 😀

That bird which flew off was I think a Cattle Egret, which IS a member of the Heron Family. You know, I could almost get to the Salisbury area if I put my mind to it. Probably wouldn't camp tho'😉

Ahh yes, and Egret sounds right. Herons tend to be bigger I think. It's a fair trek from Cornwall but probably not too bad if you have a B&B or something.
