My latest piece, Scrap Metal Pegasus, this is part 1 of 2. A really fun, challenging and satisfying build. I'm not really a 'horsey' person but they are beautifully shaped animals ... muscles, curves, power, beauty ... a really interesting subject to sculpt.
Spoons, springs, bearings, rod, nuts, bolts, nails, cogs, chain ... weld!
Want to say a few thank you's here ...
To Tony and Jeanette at 'The Motorcycle Workshop, Bolney' for all the parts! You absolute legends ... thank you! A brilliant bike shop with the friendliest and nicest people you could hope to meet. Respect!
To Jason Hurst, Rooster Creations, Barbie the Welder, Darrell Olsen (Olsen Metal Art) & Farscape3100 (Simon) for the constant inspiration, motivation and advice I get from watching your creations. Thank you!
To Richardsons scrap yard, Goddards Green. A great place to source scrap and interesting bits and pieces. Friendly and helpful people who happily let me wander around and drool over the piles of potential material. Thank you!
Also to Halfords, Burgess Hill for the bicycle parts otherwise destined for the bin. Always appreciated, cheers!
And to anyone here watching my work ... Thank you!
I try and use RU-vid and other social media to build awareness of my creations, a free advertising tool if you like, very useful. Equally though, I also hope to build an audience here and perhaps in time make a few extra quid here and there to help with the costs of equipment, scrap, amenities etc etc.
As such, any likes, shares and subscriptions are hugely appreciated. Every click really does help to get my videos out there and seen by more people. So once again, thanks to any and all who do this, much appreciated.
Have a great day
John
