Thank you for the great video! You explained everything and I’m excited that I as able to follow along and make a hat. I used a multicolor yarn but next time I will absolutely use scraps now that I know how to. 😊
🌈💙 making this hat today too 🤣 & I've got the baseball cap crocheted but not put together yet only because I'm changing my mind from the black yarn on my gray hat to just gray yarn on it lol
Hi & thank you! Yes you can use cotton. I’m not sure if the row count will be different but I would recommend doing it to the measurements that I included in the video! Hope that helps!! 🥰
I have a yarn ball winder! & no. I make a ball every time I have an order. I have a LOT of scrap yarn. That’s not even close to half of it. Probably not even a quarter 😅
Hey! Is it possible to get a stitch count after each row? I’m used to starting with a magic circle and the chains not counting as stitches. I keep trying to pause and count. 😢
I have noticed that she says she is counting the ch 3 as a stitch but joins the row at the end in the top of the DC. Doing so that cancels the ch 3 as a stitch which is why she is ending her rows with 2 DC. Common mistake. If she actually counts the ch 3 her ending stitch would be a DC. Row count 12, 24, 36, 48, 60
@@jessicakinzey6112 I pulled the begging out like 4 times because I was confused. I zjust went to my default setting of slip stitching in the first stitch and not counting the chain. . Doing that allowed me to end with the increase in the last stitch.
