I did not know you could use card stock with the print then cut - I thought it was only for stickers! Thank you for being very thorough in your videos!
Perfect layout. The kit is beautiful. Amazing how you took a shabby flower print and made a great layout with your son. Handsome guy too! The date stamp set will be in my cart too.
Love how you used that lovely patterned paper. It brought all your elements together, and the clock with your time on it was a great idea. Looks like your condole ride was such a treat! Wonderful layout!❣️
Thank you! The font has a few very skinny sections and it can be messy to use glue to adhere it to the offset layer. I do not always use the offset feature but sometimes it will help the title stand out against the background. Using the print then cut makes it one and done. It is all one layer rather than two. Hopefully I am making sense.
I set the offset to French vanilla. My printer doesn't print white so it would just be the cardstock color you print it on. Hopefully that makes sense.
Hi Lily, I am glad you enjoyed the garden journal page. I will definitely consider sharing the process when I create another entry. I did film that layout as a quick RU-vid short but those are pretty speedy videos.
That is a great idea! It is easy enough to run it through my printer and then the Cricut but I will have to try using then pens and see how it compares.
Hi Erin! I went to shop with you online to get the Are we there yet? Border stamps and thin cuts. Are the thin cuts that go with this no longer available? I tried calling the 888# but never got to speak with a human. Thank you!
Hello Kathy, I am sorry you were not able to reach anyone, unfortunately the option with the thin cuts sold out and the stamp set is the only option now. They are not too bad to fussy cut with a good pair of scissors unless you are not a fan of fussy cutting.
There are many Layout Designs that have been created for using up leftover Paper... Such as layering strips of paper OR cutting your paper into small squares or triangles to create a unique design. I have used the Close To My Heart Thin Cuts, Hexagons Stack & Circles Stack to cut down leftover paper into shapes that can be layered and scattered across your layout. There are many ways to use up your paper bits. I love making these layouts as I never know what the final Layout will look like, but they always look amazing. 🙏💞
Hello Carola, that is a great question. I have minimal waste, I will use the tiniest of pieces to create cards when there is no longer enough to create a layout. I will die cut circles, hearts, tags, etc and use them as embellishments. I have several videos showing ideas for using scraps to create a layout. You might pick up some ideas here ru-vid.com/group/PLqQRokrFq1hjRON4JxpECWLik-gyYq5aj
@@rhondapurton-coles6250 i don't feel good about paper waste and I do use scrapbook paper strips and shapes. Glossy white photo paper scraps, however, don't seem to have many possibilities. I print 2-4 pictures at a time, depending on what I want for the page I'm working on. Trimming creates lots of scraps. Some of them could be used as bookmarks or gift tags, but there's no great need for either one. Any suggestions? have used photo services like Shutterfly and Printicular, but not every picture is satisfactory.
@@CraftyConceptswithErin Oh, I do that! I have a 12x12 box full of scrapbook paper scraps. My biggest issue is with photo paper scraps. Unless you need bookmarks or gift tags, they aren't so useful
