I love your packing ideas! I keep a shoe rack on my retreat table now too. I have been using crafting suitcase like things, but they are so heavy. I may check out your wagon idea again. I may have missed it, but why do you Carrie’s the plastic baggies with you? Thanks again🙂

Good Morning. Are you asking why I keep extra plastic baggies with me? A couple of reasons. I hate when I open a package of embellishments and the original packaging tears so I use the baggie to be able to store and open package of supplies without worrying about contents falling out of an open package. And Second - when I am backing cards or have a layout with lots of little paper pieces I use baggies to keep from loosing parts of each card or the parts of a layout. Say I am cutting paper to make 4 different card design then I will have 4 baggies on my desk for card 1, card 2, card 3 and card 4 and the cuts for each individual card goes in each bag until I get to assembly. I went to a one day crop a few weeks ago and with all of the girl talk and fun I was only able to cut the paper for the cards I was able to make so when it was time to clean up and go home I closed my baggies and placed everything in my project bag. Tomorrow when I go back to crop I will be able to assemble the cards without wondering what cut goes on what card. HTH 🙂

What a great video. You shared some really great and well thought out tips. That little nonslip grippy thing for under your work mat that also cushions your Ott Light is kind of brilliant. suI’m immediately adding a thesaurus, headband, and slippers to my crop kit. I love that you went through and added just a few sheets of coordinating cardstock to each kit. If you happen to have links for your desktop tool kit, folding book stand, and power tower, I would be interested. Take care.

The tool kit is from Close To My Heart and at the time was a convention gift. They have a few styles like this at Hobby Lobby. The power tower and book stand are both from Amazon. There are different styles to fit your needs.

great video. have you considered the dish racks for cabinets to give you more space. Been using mine for years and they work great and are collapsible.
