It is fun to watch him. He's very knowledgeable about the inner-workings of things and has a positive demeanor about him that makes you feel "good". I as well love the end-of-video prayer. God bless you James
Hi brother. Thank you for the time you share with everyone. May God bless you and help guide you through any troubles you may face. Let's thank God for all that he does for us and and keep moving positively forward. I hope your having a wonderful week. I'm just enjoying the weekend off from work and my daughters Birthday. God bless everyone.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment and being here, brother! I hope your Daughter had a wonderful birthday. God bless y’all and thank you for watching.
Thank you so much! I’m really happy you enjoy my videos, I have a lot of fun scrapping and making these videos, so I appreciate your comment and for watching.
I don't know why it is so relaxing to watch you scrap-it-all. I suppose that in my many decades before retireing ,my job required so much attention to detail, much like the videos you produce. Thanks for your throughness.
Nice, had no clue the soldering gun had that much copper in it. I have one just like that with case. Don't know if it works. Always appreciate the prayers at the end of your videos. Gob bless you and y'all.
I like the soldering irons that have a temperature control dial over these types. Thank you for watching and letting me know your appreciation of me praying to God. I’ll never stop praying in my videos but it’s encouraging to know others appreciate, so thank you. God bless you!
Nice teardown my friend, never seen one of these taken apart before and expertly done as always. I was surprised by the amount of copper inside. Nice job
All my years of scrapping I think I only had one of these and it is still floating around to be stripped after a few years. I keep putting it off because I have a good one and figured I could use it for parts someday even though I do very little soldering anymore. You know the murphy law, once I rip it apart and scrap it, I will break my good one and would need something off of it a week later. But because it is still around my other one will run forever. I have a pile of dead tools I keep around if they match my tools. I did replace my switch out of my sawzall out of a dead one I got in a scrap haul not long ago.
I think it’s smart to keep back up of tools just in case, I know I do. I even have a back up microwave and a back up tv. Great thing about being a scrapper it’s easy to find stuff for free and when things break, we can scrap them for a little money. Thank you for watching
Weller sordering guns are too heavy to use for long periods of time. But you cant beat their performance for outdoor use where there is air movement. They perform flawlessly.
That’s awesome. I know some places will recycle that plastic, unfortunately in my area they will not accept it as recyclable material. Thank you for watching.
Interesting to see the transformer inside a Weller soldering gun, but it sort of hurt to see one scrapped. I’ve been using these for a half century, and they are generally pretty bombproof. You are dedicated; you certainly put in more labor than the value of the salvaged material. But to each his own hobby.🙄
I love scrapping and get so much joy from doing what I do, so it’s not really about the money. I think my dad has two or three of these in much better shape and since no one around me wanted it, I decided to make a video scrapping it. Thank you for watching.
You could probably figure out what it costs per ton of garbage to take it to the dump and subtract that from the total profit. Doesn't make much of a difference on something small like this but it might play a factor on something larger. Interesting fact either way. Keep up the good work I think you might have 2k subscribers by the time I see you next ! Looking forward to it!
I believe it’s $120 a ton for garbage, somewhere around that area. Dad told me last night you’re coming up to visit soon, will be great to see you! Thank you for watching buddy.
Yeah then divided that up to see how much per pound to dump trash and subtract that from the total. Just an idea, trash adds up too eventually. Not super psyched to be returning to the big city but I have a wedding of some good friends and am really excited to see you and your dad. It's one of my motivating factors when planning the trip stresses me out.
@@jaydudek i appreciate your idea. Yeah I bet you’re not. I haven’t been there in 15 years myself and I have zero desires to ever go there again lol. I’m looking forward to seeing you, Jay!
не жалко? такой паяльный пистолет= музейная редкость... продать его целиком в рабочем состоянии ... получил бы больше прибыли!!! no pity? such a soldering gun = a museum rarity... to sell it in its entirety in working order... would have made more profit!!!
@@fmakaren3706 wow! Thank you so very much, I really appreciate that. Tune in Sunday, I’m doing a giveaway as my way of saying thank you to all of you. God bless you.
You should let that thing unspring, film it, could go viral if you do it right... Make sure you find a safe way to do it.... Could bring some views and garner some attention for your channel.... What do you think?
I like your thinking. The key would be for me to film it in a cool way. Thank you for your suggestion, I’m going to think about this and how to do it properly.
@@scrapitall200 Obviously be safe, your life and safety is worth far far far more than some clicks... But; You could always rig up a metal box for the rolled up spring make have a nail in the center of it, have your phone or go pro filming from above, then, use a grinder on a string if you can maintain it from a lowered string to cut the area just above the weld and it should set it off. That's a rough idea anyway....
@@Bigf00tKEO yes, it can be frustrating at times lol. But it is definitely therapeutic and fun way more than not. How long have you’ve been scrapping for?
Scrapping for nearly 10yrs as a Copper Hound just cutting cords. Been able to micro scrap for the past few years. Not every metal thing i find is scrap. Decorations or sell
