Hi Matt I've been scrapping for a long time then I saw all your videos I learned a lot more one was the wire stripper I just had to get one one of the best tools I ever bought thanks for teaching me more about scrapping
Dear moose thank you your videos where and are very important to me as I became a scrapper I know you feel as you have nothing left to say you scrapped everything but I wanted to say maybe u should go into the explain what and how to fix things or judgeing if its worth scrap or not please don't stop from making videos keep doing what you love
Great video Moose have missed you hoping you can find time to just post a big hi to everyone once in awhile even if you don't have something new. You have a lot a lot of fans who consider you a friend. So just hearing from you is all we need if t hats all you have and if you have something cool for show it's all good.
When you crushed that can I imagined the sound effect from the Six Million Dollar Man. The next time you crush something, slow down the vid and add that sound effect. That will be your Christmas present to me.
When I get these cans . I set them up and hit them with a high power airgun. Get a few holes in it then it's depressurized. Then I cut the steel and then it's good to go.
Thats what I do on all old spray cans then I throw the iron ones in my iron pile and the others in with the aluminum. Never thought about the top myself or had any issues in the past with them.
Most scrap yards will not take aerosol cans due to the dangers. We are the only company in Citra Florida that properly recycle aerosol cans. So if you ever get anyone in the central Florida area asking you if you know anyone who recycles aerosol cans please direct them to us. A mail-in program for anyone outside the central Florida area and Nationwide I'll let you know when that set up. Unfortunately we do not pay for any cans as that is financially just unjustifiable at this point, it's all about being green
If I may ask a Q from a vid that's a few years old, why dissolve and re-animate gold with dangerous acids? Why not just burn the coffee filters and use a torch or jet cigar lighter to form the bead??
Steve C sorry I'm not moose but I can answer your question. The acid process is to purify the gold it's not in a pure state as it's allowed with other metals such as copper and silver. As for smelting the gold it requires 1,850 degrees Fahrenheit to melt most torches won't reach that temperature without a system of forced air as in a foundry or an oxy/acetylene with compressed gases.
Love your vids but you really gotta learn to edit in either 720 or 1080. Fill the whole screen. I suggest camtasia. Good editing and easy way to always have full aspect ratios
I stay away from that good a quality filming. It allows you to see every pimple, zit, mole, abscess, scar, nick, and bump I have had since birth. NOT PRETTY!!
