That green colored wire was probably in a wet location or water in conduit which caused it to get hot and discolored.

Always amazed when I see your wire stripper! It's a beast! My stripping machine doesn't do well on ACR. Blades miss sections. Hard jacketed overhead copper service and double jacketed has same problem. When I increase the tension to completely cut all the way it cuts the wire too. Does better on shorter wire but still run 2 or 3 times. I have a Vevor with 5 round tube feeds, 2 for Romex outer, and a squeeze. Mine is 110 amp up to 2". It's slow but good on most wire but not overhead service wire and outer plastic wrapped. Any recommendations? Love your channel! Best resource I've found for ideas and advice for scrap metal.
