Scrappy Saturday! - Collage Ephemera Sacks! 

Those are SO CUTE!! Mike is such a good Pa!! The kids love those packages!! When my boys were deployed, it was like manna from heaven! I even baked their favorite banana bread...froze it..and then mailed it, thinking I was buying a few more days before it would start drying out or growing mold!🤷😄 They said it worked fine, "as far as they knew...they ate it so fast they wouldn't know & didn’t care."😆 Thanks for the video (and, always, the stories!)❤❤

I’ve had a crazy month and haven’t had time to watch videos. I’m watching this while I walk on the treadmill. I’m thinking how nice it is to listen to your calming voice and watch your creative routine. You’re like an oasis in a crazy world! Blessings today!

Good morning my dear friend, it’s a very grey, dreary rainy day here today and it’s supposed to rain all weekend but I am not going to complain as the forest needs the rain. On the west coast of Canada, in BC there are fires burning and some people have already been evacuated and others put on notice of possible evacuation. I think that they said that there were 125 fires burning out of control. Last summer thousands of hectares were burned and they fear that there will be more this year and the crazy thing is it’s not firer season yet. Things are so crazy now, so many terrible things happening around the world from environmental disasters to wars and famine and homelessness. We are so blessed to live where we do and to have jobs that have afforded us a good retirement. The world needs our prayers and help. Enough sadness. I am so grateful for you and your videos that bring me joy and laughter. I think that it is amazing that with each new video I always learn something new in the making of junk journals. But I have to tell you that I do not call your journals, junk journals as they are beautiful works of art. I really do think of you as a dear friend and I am grateful for that. This is a great idea, I have envelopes that I got at the thrift store similar to the bags you used today; I am going to do this with mine. Good morning sweet Gayle and friends. If you live in the Oklahoma/kansas/Missouri/nebraska/iowa areas, buckle up, pre my personal meteorologist (my grand daughter) we are in for a rough Saturday! Severe storms and tornado warnings. Take care my friends. Now on to more important things. Am I the only one that finds collage stressful? I need to embrace my inner Gayle and figure out how to find my collage zen spot! Gayle’s collage always looks so beautiful. mine looks like a mess! And I struggle with too many choices (I think) maybe I should limit the scraps to use for the collage session I’m doing??? I love these sacks. Great idea as a companion with a journal you are gifting. Hugs my buddies and blessings as well “weather” the storms!

Morning Gayle, another sleepless night over here... I understand about bleeding at the drop of the hat. I am on the bloodthinner Xarelto and any paper cut etc and I bleed like crazy, it's not fun. I used to have to go in for labs every week when I was on Coumadin, I felt like a human pin cushion. At least now it's not so extreme. I've noticed something about us crafters as we age, we seem to go into more peaceful times in our lives and it really does make a difference in our health. Just listening to what's going on with all those wonderful grandbabies is a joy. We got our granddaughters kindergarten and 1st grade graduation pictures, Gayle they grow so fast but I am extremely grateful for modern technology ❤ for that reason. I love these ephemera sacks. They are so fun and can hold so much!

Morning Gayle. I spent the day making fall clusters for a video.... ended up making more offline... so have about 50 😅😂... so much fun to be had!! So took the plunge and put my first ephemera in my etsy eeekkk. Now in bed watching you make your neat sacks ❤

Good morning Gayle! I would say that Scrappy Saturday is my favorite day, but that isn’t really true. I love watching you craft everyday. I do really love watching you collage though. It's a rainy day here in Indianapolis. I hope your weather is good, I think you said you were traveling for volleyball today. We used to travel for softball. My second to the youngest granddaughter was in travel softball. She got married in October on my parents anniversary. I thought that was pretty cool. Needless to say, she no longer playing softball. She was really very good and actually got a college scholarship, but turned that down for marriage instead. He's a very nice young man. Well enough of that. Have safe travels and take care.
