Something a little different today as I take all my steel in to the scrapyard to cash in then spending the money wisely on dog treats and beer👌. A super simple process at the scrapyard so Ill probably do it more often. Another beautiful Copper brick added today but as you'll see that's all I could do. HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Best Valentine's Day gift I had ever received was just spending time with my girlfriend. She didn't want "a stupid rock", "dead plants" or "fake sugar", and we both just wanted to be in each other's company. I’m looking forward to this year’s Valentines. My wife gave birth to such a cute daughter just a few weeks ago. I’m planning on giving them the best valentines ever by doing a complete thorough detail clean of my house, laundering all the bed sheets, clean wife’s car, etc etc. She gave me the best Valentines gift ever with the birth of my daughter. My best Valentine’s Day gift would be to make it possible for my brother to want to walk again. He will be 60 on Feb 15, and being able to get him one of the rings to lift his spirits would be great. He has always suffered from depression, but last year his legs suddenly gave out and he has paralysis in both legs. Hes stuck in a hospital feeling down and hopeless …too young to lose hope in life. Yes, very true, and when I put the bench into the trailer and hopped into my car a big black spider dropped down onto my leg, it’s still in the car as I forgot to get it when I got home and as I was driving on the highway I certainly wasn’t gonna freak out die trying to slam the brakes on to get out of the car. I didn’t even think about that spider until you said that so I probably should go and give my car a clean out now just in case👍🏻.

I have watched a few other folks use a torch on the mold during the pour as well. Like a rosebud. It apparently helps the pour be more solid and it can create a cool ripple effect on the top. That was the perfect ice melt. Loved it. I wanted to go swimming in it.

I love to watch your videos every Friday. My favorite Valentine’s memory is when my daughter was very young she wanted to use bats and skulls and gothic stuff for my Valentine 💌 and the teacher thought she had gotten the holidays messed up she told the teacher no My mom just likes them. My best Valentines gift was a trip to a remote cabin in the snow covered Rocky Mountains of Colorado USA. I am glad that you scraped that rubbish, it is a good place for snakes to hang out or for anyone who is passing by to get caught and cut on. With your sign I would suggest instead of burying it, you could use two metal straps and bolt it to the face of your retaining wall.

(Valentines story but kinda sad...) Husband and I were at a Sci-Fi convention and a vendor had this gorgeous drape that fit me perfectly, black with red roses. I thought it was a bit expensive. I drifted off to do something else and husband bought it behind my back and made arrangements with the vendor--friends of ours--to ship it so I wouldn't see it before Valentines/our 20th wedding anniversary... He died on Feb. 3rd from an embolism so he never got to give it to me, but our friends made sure I got his last gift on the 14th. ❤😢 Tomorrow marks 9 years since he passed.

Quite the variety today! A very nice copper melt ( My favorite ), desk refinish, I like these free worktables, I just happen to have a couple myself. A trip to the scrapyard, I pulled out an old 1920s gravity furnace from my home - 450 lbs ( 204 kgs ) of good steel. A delicious looking BigSnackD, and the finale... a cooling Puppers wash and pup snack to which they seemed to enjoy tremendously! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
