ASMR Metal Melting . No Music No Talking just the sounds of the tools & furnace, I just show the scrap breakdown and the Melting process from start to finish with all the good stuff in between and all the BS edited out! I dumpster dive for trash to melt and visit the scrapyard often. I like to melt pretty much anything especially the normal every stuff that people just throw out and don’t think twice about. Melting metals is dangerous but very rewarding.I cast Copper,Brass,Aluminium,Silver,Nordic Gold,Bronze ETC I make a heap of alloys along the way. I’ve uploaded every Friday for 6 years running👍🏻 I make metal skulls knives guns plaques coins and various other items😁 I have a donate PayPal button in my cover art and %100 of all moneys donated go into my videos in the way of purchasing mainly propane refills. If you want send me a letter or something special to the address below
Great job. Nice to get some rain after it's been dry.... I'll sit outside & watch.... Sorry to hear about Ingot, my little buddy..... Hope he's feeling better soon.... That eye still looks a little cloudy??? Is that as good as it's going to get???? One of my dogs, many years ago, he wouldn't go out in the rain, I'd have to go out there with an umbrella so he could do some business...... Heh heh heh!!! In the winter, he also would have to be standing on grass, so I'd have to shovel a section of the yard, so he could be on grass to do business.... Heh heh! Yeah, I know....
Do you think you'll ever get an induction furnace and start melting steel? It would be pretty cool to see you melt steel or even experiment with different alloy combinations with the materials you have now
Aluminum = most satisfying melts Copper = most satsfying pours Brass = mose satisfying bars Thank you BigstackD for always giving me a chill way to unwind from a stressful week!
I finally understand all of the gravel around your place. We don't see rainfall like that in Minnesota, USA - typically an inch or less at a time. Another wonderful video!
I really like the night melts. It shows just how hot the stuff gets. Hard to tell in the light of day, but at night that bright cherry red of the crucible is telling.
doesn't rapidly cooling the ingots with ice make them very brittle?? also please dont over feed the maggies as they will become dependent on you for food,
No mate, definitely not. I’m not sure exactly how the hardening works . A lot of people say coolinythem too quickly can change their crystal structure or some stuff like that but I have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about and don’t know if it’s even a real thing. I’m assuming it’s more to do with blacksmithing and not with melting, but again, it’s a guess. I have absolutely no idea buddy but all I can say is what I have done with personal experience and I can tell you I see nothing different in anyway whether I let it cool on the ice , cool in the water or just leave it out to cool in the air👍🏻.
*holds up Master locks* "I don't know where the keys are" That's okay, if McNally and LockPickingLawyer has taught me anything, you can just smack one with the other and they will open.
I don't use an iPhone, apart from my case, it is assembled to protect the camera since it includes a microscope. I use it a lot to see the marked carat. You can look for another adhesive format for smooth TPU cases and sell it per inch of the phone so it is better Un saludo desde País Vasco
As always great video I have told a few scrappers I follow about smelting and to watch yourself to see how you smelt the aluminium copper brass that they would get best price doing the smelt from weighing in ingots and on RU-vid from videos
Working at the scrapyard i hate getting in keys cause i gotta sit there at the grinding wheel with a magnet. Steel, diecast alu, and brass keys. Diecast and brass keys may have the nickle or silver plate.
Am I the only one who gets turned on by those metal sounds 😂🙈 honestly, such stunning noises, the clatter of the keys is👌 Look forward to the future videos coming!! This also reminds me that there is something I need to get round to sending you too, something I find really useful👍33.55 that chain totally looks like a face with a lip piercing bull chain 😂Thanks for another episode of sensory joy, love the coins and wow that rain, we have power cuts all the time out in the sticks where I am, so annoying!!
Hey Jo how are you my friend? Do me a favour and hit me up in a week if I haven’t sent through the photos! I didn’t even remember our last convo until I read this comment. I’ve got that much going on over here you would not even believe me if I told you. Talk soon Jo S. 👊🏻😁
@@bigstackD Haha all good I hope, if the sneak peeks were anything to go by I'm excited!! Absolutely no rush on the photos buddy, got a few months until the big reveal anyway😄 just send them over in the next few weeks so I can start thinking about putting it all together and if not I'll give you a shout. Have a great week🙂
